That could work if he backed up his scenery/effects/textures.............etc etc and his scenery.cfg before he transferred FSX? Depends if he has payware scenery too which will all have to be reinstalled from scratch. If its all freeware simply copying and pasting the backup addon scenery folder and scenery.fsx would not be enough.

Cant you perform a complete uninstall of FSX Steam and do a reinstall. Still not sure why you would buy FSX Steam twice?? Surely your one account can be used indefinitely?

Prob your prtmgr entry in the registry https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/error-code-1-80004005/b4d1bf66-d57b-4b19-8658-0727c1566ac9 Should be PartMgr but see the post for the registry entry you have to ensure the P and M are upper case, maybe you missed that on mr zippys post?

You say you have bought FSX Steam twice?? What happened to your first one?

It could be [fltsim.8] maybe? The texture= entry does not match the callsign VH-KTP but is VHKtp? Only a possibilty as the texture folder might well be called VHKtp. Cant spot any other anomalies

My win10 tells me my rig doesnt meet the stsndards for Win11 would love to have it tho!! Esp if there were any performance improvements??

Get an SSD! Do a complete uninstall of FSX and reinstall onto the SSD. What version of FSX are you using? Boxed or Steam? -
Then i would suggest none are needed for this set of airfields. Ant does recommend having Vol4 with this pack so the ones in there are prob duplicated in vol6? Parts of his readme are copy and paste by looks so i wouldnt read too much into it im sure they would be in his download if required. You could always email him???? BTW your question could be misconstrued as a statement, more info would of helped!

As you know you dont need Disk1 in a drive to run FSX! Have you swapped out any drives in the recent past? May still be in one??

The add on files are dead easy to download and install (i shoved mine all in one scenery pack) and shouldnt put you off, they are also used in some other sceneries too. Dont think there anything else available.

Appears HJG are older FS9 models which is prob your problem, did you try this https://tonymadgehjg.proboards.com/thread/1662/installing-hjg-aircraft-fsx You could also post your issue on that forum? It does appear the RC135 is FSX compatible so you maybe did something wrong with the installation ??

Over at Justflight everythings now geared for P3D and MSFS, poor old FSX now resides a long way down the list. Interestingly the prices are still high imo.

Gotta say the documentation with this download is awesome and I now fully understand what the pop up window is for. Shame on Rikooo for not including it!! -
FYI I got this from Rikooo and it didnt contain the readme files? So ive had to download agin from here hopefully to find out how to stop the annoying pop up window when the planes first selected?
