If only all people were sensible, we could get through this quicker. I'm ashamed to say that here in the UK we've had reports of idiots (I could put that much stronger!) deliberately setting fire to ambulances and food delivery vans. There were even some teenagers who thought it amusing to cough in the faces of the elderly. Words fail me! -
Humans are basically selfish, which is why we're the most successful current species. Of course, we're wrecking the planet in the process...

Here in the UK we've currently had 55 deaths compared with 10,000 who've died of flu this winter, yet TV news is Corona, Corona, Corona 24/7. Everyone seems to have forgotten climate change, which is a much bigger threat to us all.

Are these FSX generic airports or some other? I've got all UK Horizon sceneries (plus all treescapes) and, with UK2000 airports, have not noticed any problems.

Maybe ignorance is bliss (and I'm certainly ignorant when computers are involved) but I've upgraded my desktop and laptop from Win 7 to Win10 without the slightest problem, with all programs (including FSX with dozens of add-on's) running perfectly. It seems to be fashion to denigrate Win10, but I've found it to be by far the best OS I've encountered, starting from Win 98SE.

If this has only started happening in the last few days, just revert to the back-up you took last week. You did make a back-up, didn't you?

Yes, I've flown on several and, with the rear engines, always a pleasure with such a quiet cabin environment. From a visual point of view, I've always felt the wings look too far back on the DC9 (and even worse on the stretched versions). Presumably the heavy rear mounted engines keep the centre of gravity well back on the fuselage? -
They don't have to justify them. All that matters is that some people are obviously prepared to pay that price. If you were selling something, wouldn't you want to maximise your profit? It's called supply and demand!

Does anyone really get the performance we see on YouTube? I suspect these are highly doctored with professional equipment. -
You don't have to go into all this complication unless you really want to. I'm not computer literate, but I upgraded my Win 7 desktop to Win 10 without the slightest problem and free of charge too. My FSX and all its add-on's survived the process and works normally. Having had a couple of weeks to get used to it, I now like Win 10 so much that I've upgraded my laptop from Win 8.1 to Win 10, again free of charge. The motto is: Be bold, take the plunge, but back up just in case! :)

I'm in a similar position, having run FSX in Win 7 for many years and now forced to update to Win 10, so your experience is good news. Can I ask if you had to re-install FSX after the upgrade or did it simply work as before? (I have FSX in its own partition if that makes a difference.) Many thanks.

That's because I wrote "Trunk"! :) I was merely pointing out that UK/US terms for car parts are different. For example we say bonnet for your hood, and we say bumper for your fender!

We call them Boot Sales here in the UK, because the items are sold from the back of a car or van. I understand Boot is known as Trunk in the US, but presumably you don't call them Trunk Sales or someone might think they are getting a white elephant! :D

I'm a little concerned that the new Flight Sim is being referred to as a game. That always rings alarm bells and gets my hackles raised! -
When I started using a computer, I was told there are three essential rules to follow: Rule 1: Back up Rule 2: Back up Rule 3: Back Up I use Norton Ghost and I can't remember the number of times it's saved my bacon!
