I wouldn't bother reinstalling. If it worked right, their would probably be something wrong with your installation!

Probably just another thing in this sim that doesn't work right. Asobo's quality control is nonexistent.

Very smooth in 1080p high graphics. I can't try it in 4k because the display is Only hd. The only thing I don't like is the keyboard. It doesn't have a numeric keypad, and some other keys are missing Compared to a full keyboard. You can turn the mousepad into a numeric keypad, but it still not the same. No problems so far in 2 months. It boots to windows in 10 seconds. Since I bought it they've raised the price by $300. It is expensive. I paid $2,500.

I just had the same thing tonight with the a320 on autopilot. I'll try what paxx said. Is this a bug in the program, or something we are doing wrong?

I just watched this YouTube video, and it seems pretty good for basic a320 autopilot, and it's only 7 minutes long.

I just got done flying it, and had many problems with the autopilot. All the things seemed intertwined. You can't activate vs until you've turned on altitude. The flight director and auto throttle seem to start on. There are two autopilot buttons for some reason. I guess asobo thinks everyone is a trained a320 pilot. They're not in the education business.

I find that hard to believe. What happens if the company goes out of business. All of it's addons will eventually stop working. I'm suprised planes in my community folder, that I weren't even using, crashed my game. I would think it's asobo's responsibility to continue to support older versions.

So now everytime there's an update, we have to update all our add on planes and liveries. That's not good.

One successful flight does not mean it's working. I'm suprised you don't know that.

I have 1.10.8, and it's still crashing when I try to take off from Las Vegas. I'll try these two things and see if it helps. I hope so. I tried both. Deleting the rolling cache didn't help. Removing the planes in my community folder did! So that was my problem. Thanks a million!

By messed installation, do you mean the user did something to mess up the installation? How do they do that? I've never heard of internet files coming in corrupted. If that happed, it would be a big problem for everyone. I download tons of stuff, and it doesn't get corrupted. I guess it could happen sometimes, but I don't think it's a major problem with mfs, because so many people are having the same problems. I know sometimes there are dropped packets in streams, but I think program installations can handle that.

I don't have any of the user errors mentioned above, and I'm still having lots of problems. Like 7 ctd after last update. I have my doubts this program will ever run good. Also, some of the things mentioned above shouldn't matter at all, like bad internet, installing to a different directory, having undocumented windows, as the liberals call it, and having addons. Can't we have addons? What's the store for?

Yes, any changes you make to the cfg files you have to back up because they may be overwritten. Apparently asobo doesn't know people make their own changes.

What would cause the a320, 747 and 787 elevator trim to move with autopilot off?

What bothers me the most, is you can't view a external view, and the instrument panel, at the same time. No concurrent windows.

Sometimes there's no weather icon in the main menu at the top of the screen, and the menu editor doesn't let you add it. Does anybody know why this happens?

I downloaded and installed it. Didn't take long. Looks pretty good for free.
