  1. Dang just flew this bird from KROC to KORF 5 minutes ago. Found myself streching my neck up while landing .....maybe some Old School telephone books.....8>). Might try some of the above suggestions.
  2. As I posted before. If your main flying is Bush Pilot in Alaska low and slow you'll need more of everything. At FL350 probably not so much
  3. One other thing maybe if your a Low and Slow Bush Pilot in Alaska I am sure the Bandwidth will be hungry. Possibly at FL350 not so much
  4. Some more ram and I have the Ideal spec. My internet connection can do 200 mbs. The amount of my peeps streaming at one time my muck it it up a bit. Most are all Hardwired at a gigabit so......pack a lunch twice weekly and up my speed......8>)
  5. Cool Roger......Just a side note all 4 of my Beloved Grandparents came from Newfoundland. Burin, Scilly Cove, Mereasheen and Winterton.
  6. From Google Maps Street View. Hopefully this helps. https://goo.gl/maps/DgN7xpxcebi49Ug86
  7. My Beloved Wife "Made" me get a new PC. Gen 9 I7, 16 gigs (going to upgrade that soon) with a 8Gb Nvidia 2060. Man Prepar3d now screams. Really digging it.
  8. Merry Christmas to you Paul from Long Island New York!
  9. Last night I was perusing around a bit on Flight Aware near KOPF and a Plane had a Star Wars fighter as an ICON instead of a normal Jet icon. I tried to no avail to click on it to get dialogue box to pop up but this plane was right over another airport. What do you think? Promotion or Hack Aha! https://flightaware.com/squawks/view/1/1_year/new/76356/The_Star_Wars_aircraft_is_flying_the_friendly_galaxy_Where_is_it_now
  10. Thank you very much Phantom.......Much appreciated!
  11. What is the proper procedure to import Flight Plans in to Xplane11 to load into Garmin 1000. I created a couple of Flight Plans online and they were saved as a "FMS" file.
  12. Have you taken a look at this PDF for Xplane? http://x-plane.com/manuals/FMS_Manual.pdf
  13. Perhaps at FL380 not so much. Low and slow like Bush flying and such possibly.
  14. My Two Cents ( before taxes ) Hard drives are dirt cheap. Install 2 hard drives and do a dual boot. Windows 10 on one drive and Windows 7 on the other. Make sure you update Windows 7 completely as it is being phased out. Run all your Legacy games on Win 7. I believe Windows 7 must be installed First. Google it.
  15. Bandwidth...Bandwidth.....Bandwidth. One would imagine the new MFS would read ahead based on one's Airspeed, Altitude, Direction,Weather and Region. Perhaps a submitted Flight Plan would help the process. Monthly service charge is on the horizon no doubt IMHO. It is what they all do nowadays. Wait and see.
  16. I run both because I have both. Nothing wrong with either one IMHO.I have a I7, 16 Gigs ram with a 8gig video card so I could run P3D 4. I seem to always stray back to FSX or FS9. To think back in the days with Sublogic FS running on my C64 and halfway thru the flight to MVY......Loading...Loading....Loading.
  17. Light aircraft and foul weather. Propliner era flying.
  18. Very impressive Sascha. Very well done.....Awesome! Thanks.
  19. Hi Sascha. I sent you some coin via PayPal to the email you posted in the PM. Paypal said it might take a day process. No worries.
  20. Hello Sascha . I am also interested in purchasing this as well.
