  1. Just uninstalled it. Should have called Micro Soft Sight Stimulator. Awesome Graphics no doubt Installed fine. Had no issues. Ran well on my rig. Aircraft?...... outside a few GA most are not ready for Prime Time IMHO. No Helicopter or Classic Propliner. I like to fly. Would like to see a "Classic" skin developed for it. Not a fan of Tiles. Prefer a menu structure. But that is just me. I will keep an eye out for further patches. It will get better with time that I have no doubt. Just my Two Cents....( before taxes )
  2. VERY Cool.!.......which hand holds the Beer?.........í ½í¸Ž
  3. The funniest is when ATC calls out to another aircraft and says "Flight XX you are 20,000' above your Designated Altitude please descend to 10,000" "
  4. Some videos popping up of a F-18 for MSFS. Rumored to be ported over from FSX Acceleration. Link: https://www.msfsaddons.org/aircraft/aircraft-fa-18-for-microsoft-flight-simulator-2020
  5. Not me......storage is cheap. Hell I even have FS9 still installed. Why?.......Tom Gibson's CalClassics and all things ERA flying.
  6. This guys Youtube channel has very basic instructions for glass cockpits for MSFS to get you going. P Gatcomb https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGWd_NMbp7GxMg4bZO65heQ
  7. Baron 58 is missing the Altitude Setting Knob on the Garmin
  8. FS-9 yes.......for all the Prop Era Flying with Tom Gibson's Cal-Classic treasure trove of add-ons. Even works on a 6 year old Lap-Top.
  9. The Blue is most likely set for Prop Pitch which will come in handy when you fly a variable propeller pitch aircraft
  10. Flew my first complete flight from KOPF to MYGF in the Cessna 172. Love flying South Florida and the Caribbean. Very nice. Flew over a Cruise Ship heading to Florida at 5000 FT. Pretty awesome. Set at 1080p sliders on pretty much high. Running a 9th Gen I7, RTX 2060 super w 8 gigs, 48 gigs of ram and using a 500 GB Nvm.2 SSD. Logitech Rudders, Yoke and Throttle. Up until this flight I was just meandering around a bit over Long Island out of KISP using different aircraft for giggles and poops. Learning curve no doubt. Scenery is fantastic. Flight dynamics need some updating though. I am sure there will be patches in the future. Methinks they pushed this out a little too quickly IMHO. I am pretty happy with it so far. Just my 2 cents (before taxes)
  11. Wow......Big thanks Mr Zippy......first round is on me!
  12. I remember FS-2 on my Commodore 64. Flight between KISP and KMVY half-way the game would say loading.....Loading....Loading.
  13. An hour and three quarters is my guesstimation. Had other things to do. Average connection speed was about 180 mbs. Checked that twice during download. Did not even get to try it. Had to get some shut eye for an early work start. No money = No funny
  14. Shut it down and restarted. Took about an Hour and three quarters to down load. Haven't tried it yet though. Had to get some shut eye.
  15. Bought thru MS Thought everything was going good with the download. Notice it not progressing at all. Stopped and restarted download . Now d-loading at a good clip. Average of 185 mb d-load speed. We shall see. Shame they didn't have a 250 GB thumb-drive purchase option.
  16. Just got home from work. Downloading now. Feel like a kid on Christmas Eve and I just turned 60 last week. Reminds me of that Heinz Ketchup commercial with the "Anticipation" song in the background:) Or maybe "Whipping Post" from the Allman Brothers Live At The Fillmore East album.:p
  17. Well my beloved Wife "MADE" me buy a PC capable of running MSFS 2020. Had almost the ideal setup. I added 32 more gigs of ram and a nve m-2 500 gig SSD. I7 ninth gen. The video card is a 2060 nvidia. A Ibuypower rig from Costco.
  18. I'll wait another day. I still have FSX, FS9, Xplane or P3 4.5 loaded on various PCs to quell my thirst.
  19. $60 is a lot of Beer...............just saying
