  1. Well done David. I love the oval portholes of the 414. I have never been in one though. Great work. Khalid
  2. She's a beauty Rick. I would have been as restless as you are until the issue is resolved and you have her airworthy once more. Good on you!.
  3. Took out a formation of F-4Js (of No.74 "Tiger" Sqdn.) for a short trip between RAF Lossiemouth and RAF Leuchars (before the latter was converted into an army station, sadly). The ride was very scenic and the East coast of Scotland is beautiful as ever. BTW- This is a "bargainware" model, FCS F-4F Phantom Ultimate Edition, which I bought pre-owned from a Game shop in Glasgow for 99p! CLICK ON THE PICTURES FOR A LARGER VIEW Take off in tight formation, full reheat! Overflying a vessel in the North Sea A standard rate turn in formation Overhead Fife airport. Tight and close, a textbook formation. Some line-up! Over the Firth of Forth and the bridges. Landing at Leuchars Happily at dispersal. Hope you enjoy. Best wishes. Khalid
  4. Happens often in FSX Rick, you get artefacts and anomalies. I have what looks like a UFO formation hovering over Cumbernauld airport (EGPG) in Scotland. Because of ORBX or some (any odd) other add on I guess?
  5. Nice pictures Bob and I agree the C208 is the ultimate evolution of the "traditional-Cessna" single engine, high strutted wing, fixed tricycle undercarriage configuration. Will not even attempt to guess the theme you're on about. Best wishes. Khalid
  6. Love the shot looking up at the tail unit as though you were about to board from the rear. Best wishes. Khalid
  7. Beautiful picture Rick. The liveries of 60s and 70s carrier-borne aircraft is so colourful and eye catching in general. You have chosen a beautiful sample, I may add. Best wishes. Khalid
  8. Nice set of shots. Is that repaint available for download? Best wishes. Khalid
  9. Sounds brilliant Marcus, from the hardware perspective you have introduced a second computer to the equation. That can be a life changing step. With FSX / FSX-SE, what method do you use to link both computers to serve the same simming session? Is it cockpit sharing via LAN? Best wishes, Khalid
  10. I have FSX running with 2 cards connected via SLI. I use 3 monitors. My configuration is with my signature. I would start with two monitors and experiment my way up to 5 if I were you. Its a steep learning curve with lots of experimentations with various settings and drivers, and how to get the monitors and the various open windows to behave. It is so hardware / software dependent so there is no standard way for all, but you need to get your drivers updated for starters, do not overclock anything at this stage, start with the stable settings for both your motherboard and GPUs, until you have everything set up and happily working, then -if you need to- increase the multipliers little by little. Best of luck. Khalid
  11. I like this. Beautiful pictures Gérard. Amazing that scenery is only 1.96 MB? does it work well with ORBX? Best wishes. Khalid
  12. That's awesome, not only even for a freeware! Very decent work! Khalid
  13. I was able to get it to work later, thank you. Apparently you have set the manufacturer name as Cessna and not Carenado so the repaint appears with the stock Caravans, not the Carenado ones. Thank you again and best wishes.
  14. Hello, Please be informed that for some reason your repaint doesn't work. I tried every possible troubleshooting, to no avail. Best wishes. Khalid
  15. I think they get on scaffoldings and use power tools to polish so much area. I have seen various drill attachments that do a wonderful job of polishing, such as cloth discs and fluffy spheres. In my humble opinion its not so much as a difference between you and your grandpa, as the difference between the size of a Dakota and a Cessna 180. If I owned a Cessna 185 I would polish her adoringly any time. I did hear however, pilots claiming that they get up to 10 knots extra airspeed for the same power setting with a polished ship. Best wishes. Khalid
  16. Hello, the I-MONI version in the FSX is a repeat of I-BISE, there is no I-MONI paint? thank you.
  17. Thank you great aircraft. Does it not come with a 2D panel? I may be old fashioned but it would make your model more perfect if it had 2D panel. Thank you once more and best wishes.
  18. Awesome shots Jan. Your photo composition is neat and to the point. I am always impressed. The Dakota is also a great model to pose for you, especially with this classic livery, so you have an added point. Best wishes. Khalid
  19. The name is Greyhound not Greyhoud must be a typo.
  20. If you cannot get this repaint to work, it is because the cfg is missing one line, "sim=gladiator18" without the quotations. Without this entry, you will get prompted that the model failed to start. Until Peter would release a fix or an update, the cfg should look like this, the missing line is the second one from top: QUOTE [fltsim.XX] title=Gladiator Mk I Iraqi sim=gladiator18 model=glad01 panel=glad01 sound= texture=Iraqi kb_checklists= ui_manufacturer=Gloster ui_type=Gladiator Mk I ui_variation=Iraqi description=15 Gladiators were delivered to the Royal Iraqi Air Force in 1937/38. The aircraft were initially operated by No 4 Squadron. The Gladiator numbers were increased after 1942 and a further 18 were transferred from RAF stocks. The Gladiator was finally withdrawn from service in 1951. visual_damage=0 UNQUOTE Best wishes, Khalid
