  1. I just got my CPU out of the shop, blew out the power supply before Christmas and had to rebuild my FSX.cfg and trying to remember all my settings. I have pictures of a lot of them but through the years I have experimented with so many different settings forget which ones I liked best. The AS over rides the FSX cloud draw doesn't it? Was wondering if I needed to set that any special way.
  2. Looking for ideas on best cloud draw settings in the FSX Display settings when using Active Sky
  3. Still can't get the Ho, Ho,Ho. It has worked in the past. I checked the sound file and it is in there and works on my computer audio. Kinda like that light up candy cane I have outside right now the works one night and not the next Ha! Ha!
  4. If I turn up the volume I can hear the bells in the background. I will check the date.
  5. How do I get the sleigh bells and ho ho ho to work on Patrice Granges Santa's Sleigh? I had them working in previous years.
  6. That's where I started. I use FSUIPC as well and checked for some kind of conflict. Didn't find any. Some how I got it to work but just now I don't know what caused it.
  7. I think I found it something within my Saitek Yolk system I think. Had trouble with the Jets not shutting down as well. Not sure what I did but seems to be working. Any thoughts still welcome.
  8. This is a new one. I can't get any of my helicopters to shut down. I hold the assigned key or button using the E key or ctrl+shift+f1 and if I hold it down long enough the rotors and engines stop but when I let go they auto start back up. My airplanes work fine. Haven't changed anything recently (like years) Any ideas?
  9. It works great except for the auto pilot. I removed these two gauges in the main 2D panel //gauge00=cs_f104!main_panel, 0,0,1024,768 //gauge01=cs_f104!Pric, 474,288,77,77 that fixed my Saitek switch panel and the lights stayed on but I couldn't get the aircraft to work on auto pilot correctly. Other then that it works very well in FSX. I added different afterburners and the sonic boom effect as well. As well as the thumbnails in the texture folders.
  10. I have the Legendary F-104 for FS9 and I have ported it over to FSX my question when U use it my Saitek Auto Pilot panel lights go out. I use Spad and test the buttons and they work just the lights go out and I have to close the FSX program and restart to get them back for anymore aircraft.
  11. Anyone having trouble with Active Sky Weather? I keep getting the synchronize clock window but if I set my computer clock back a day the window doesn't come up and the weather in the program appears to be real time just a day behind I guess. Actually, been having that window come up off and on the past week.
  12. They weather engines seem to be working again. Nothing wrong on my end.
  13. Past couple days none of my live weather engines working. Rex, Rex Evolution, Active Sky. Haven't checked my Steam yet but my FSX and FS9 on two different computers. Of course I get the Active Sky window about resetting my computer clock. Anyone else having issues?
  14. Not the .cfo file but within the editvoicepack utility is what I was talking about. Thanks!
  15. I over the years hae added so many call signs and a few of my own custom (not sure how but it worked!) just wondering I have lots of multiple listed like from ones in the MAIW and WOAI can I remove them? Should I bother?
  16. Can anyone tell me the type of aircraft this is behind the blond? Is there one available for my FSX library?
  17. I contacted them and yes, it was an issue on thier end. They have fixed the problem. Quick response on their part.
  18. Out of the blue my Active Sky is giving me a window error saying it is unable to connect to servers. Hey, no firewall problem here been working fine for five years or more. My simulator computer is dedicated to my flight simulator. Anything to do with windows 7 not being supported anymore? Anyone else having issues as of today? I always have REX it's working OK.
  19. After downloading an updated version the old one had the wrong 2D panel anyway. It does not match the 3D VC. Another puzzle I tried the working @D panel from the TP model into the MS model and those same gauges did not work. Mmm. I think I will take your advice and go fly!
  20. I just downloaded the Mallard TPfsx "fsxmaltpv13" and it has that panel and all the gauges work. Now I am puzzled why the one I have been playing with those couple gauges do not. Mmm? Ah, the game is afoot!
  21. I just downloaded this one and it has a different 2D panel all together. I think, I am downloading it again. https://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php?searchid=73232124
  22. Checking out the "Milton Shupe and Team" Grumman G-73 Mallard v1.0 I noticed the Torque, EGT, and RPM gauges do not work. Anybody else notice this?
  23. Ah, I just didn't try enough of the 2004 gauges. I went ahead and added all thirty some and now I have it. Thanks StringBean!
  24. Yes I got them from another sight but trusted Simviation and Avsim but there are pictures in the downloads showing the gauges. Also the panel.cfg is using the Extra gauges. I brought my issue up in this forum because I have found over the past fifteen years I have received the best soundest advice anywhere. I was mistaken on where I found these models. I have the Pitts models found here to. I did try the one's in question in my 2004 FS and the gauges show up. I tried a few of the 2004 extra gauges and they did not show up in FSX so the one;s I tried where obviously not the ones I needed. Here is a link to one I am having the issue if you want to take a look. https://www.fs-freeware.net/downloads/download/88-propeller-aircraft/490-fsx-pitts-s-2s-special-package.html Not sure why I got fixated on this aircraft but I live in Reno, NV and the air races last week I always get a piit pass and go the one of the hangers where all these Pitt's and Christian Eagles park as well the Extras. Not sure why these guys a required to even wear a parachute, Ha! Ha!
