    I'm with Tim. Over the past 60 years I've flown a bit over 2,000,000 miles. There is positively, without doubt, absolutely no way I'd book a flight on a MAX. Costs more to fly another type? OK. Can't afford it? Gas ain't all that expensive compared to a funeral.

    Good point. I didn't think of that. It could be the internet connection/speed/modem/etc. Scenery loading could, indeed, be the cause of pauses/freezes if the the connection is too slow or faulty.....Doug

    Welcome to the forum(s). I think your hardware "should" be OK at those settings. A couple of thoughts...do you have any anti-virus or anti-malware programs running? If so try it with them disabled. Also, be sure nothing is creating a periodic "dump" or imaging of part of the system. How long do the freezes last when they occur. Is it really a freeze or just a long stutter? Is everything running smoothly between the freezes? What is the framerate your seeing? This info would really help the folks here with trying to diagnose your problem.....Doug

    "People just don't know how to operate the aircraft..." I can't believe I just read this. It seems to me the more you know about how to fly the aircraft the more you know just how poor many aspects of the default aircraft really are. Now granted, the only RL experience I have is in the 172 but I think that's enough to know "how to operate the aircraft".

    I'm also running 1920x100 and see the same thing. In all the testing I've done in varying conditions and locations with all the sliders maxxed in FSX, P3Dv5.1, and MSFS2020 I've never exceeded 13GB.

    I don't have a recommendation for you but I, too, love the 2D panels. I'll sorely miss them but I'm afraid they are a thing of the past.

    "Windows 10 is needed to take advantage of 64-bit computing..." Windows 7 also provides "the advantage of 64-bit computing". Just install the 64-bit version (just like you'd have to do with windows 10).

    Yes, it's too low. You're going to have a problem sooner or later. dogdish has the answer...go straight to the 1000W as no calculation is precise enough to warrant anything else.

    Just set it to the native resolution. Everything else it lower quality.

    I haven't used Mindstar but I have used both the RealityXP and Flight1 750's. I'd go with the RealityXP.
