  1. How much hard drive space you do you have? Try clearing temp files like internet cache? Any possible program open when trying to install? How fast is your internet speed?
  2. More detail? Which airport(s), which runway(s), which frequencies are you using?
  3. Thanks for the reply Plainsman. Memory is 16gb ddr 3000 megahertz on both of these boxes Power supply is 650 on the box with i-9, and 600 on the box with i-7 Both systems come with iBUYPOWER 240mm AIO liquid cooler I plan to probably use 2 monitors, 27" in size, most likely at 1440p. I'm still a hardware newb in understanding some of the choices in this area, but I can confirm it won't be 4k anytime soon. These are both ibuypower products being sold at Bestbuy, if that helps. Thanks for your time.
  4. Hello all, So I've been looking at two computers and trying to figure out if both are good enough to run MSFS comfortably. Intel i9-10900K - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super 8GB - 1TB SSD would be my first choice but is currently sold out. I've been looking at Intel i7-10700K - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 8GB - 1TB HDD + 480GB SSD. I don't like this smaller SSD also having windows as I would probably run out of space quicker with MSFS also installed on this drive. The other question is, is there a huge different is the video cards with one being "super" and the other not where MSFS is concerned? Thanks for your time.
  5. Great work Jan! Long live FS9!
  6. Remember when these were Delta's competition at Hartsfield? Arguably one of the more iconic liveries of the past age. And I'm not biased, you can't go wrong with a giant 757 painted on the tail.
  7. David, sorry for your loss. Letting go of a family member is difficult. Enjoyed this share as always, and great to have you around!
  8. Good to see you sir! I'll admit, Vietnam is one place I don't recall visiting in the sim. Perhaps one day when I'm feeling brave! :D
  9. I think I've been stressed out lately. I've come to confess that I did not name my post correctly. While I have been to Mt Shasta, this post really isn't about that. This should have been labeled as Mt Rainier. Since I can't edit my post, I'm confessing it here. My apologies folks! Mount Rainier (/reɪˈnɪər/), also known as Tahoma or Tacoma, is a large active stratovolcano in the Cascade Range of the Pacific Northwest, located in Mount Rainier National Park about 59 miles (95 km) south-southeast of Seattle.[4] With a summit elevation of 14,411 ft (4,392 m),[5][6] it is the highest mountain in the U.S. state of Washington and the Cascade Range, the most topographically prominent mountain in the contiguous United States,[7] and the tallest in the Cascade Volcanic Arc.
  10. I'll have to check this one out. That flight deck looks great.
  11. Absolutely amazing! I read about them in a John Grisham novel, but they exceed expectation!
  12. Looks wonderful! But then, I am a Delta homer. :D
  13. Everyone talks about Air Force One for good reason, but I've always loved the 757 conversion... I have no political statement to make here, I just thought it was timely.
  14. I'm not far off from taking all of this on, so I appreciate the advice and knowledge being shared!
  15. Hard not to love the Lear. And I do love the red tail! :D
