  1. It's been a while since I've done any flying, but I picked up the Cirrus SR22 during the recent Carenado sale, so I decided to do a test flight from New Garden Airport (N57) in Toughkenamon, PA to Ocean City Municipal Airport in Ocean City, Maryland. Tropical storm Fay is quickly approaching the Ocean City area so clouds were plentiful, but thankfully we beat the rain and the wind. Here are a few shots of the flight. Flying down the Delaware side of the Delaware River. Pennsylvania is in the back, New Jersey is under the left wing and Delaware is under the right wing The cloud layer is starting to thicken as we continue down the Delaware River Trying to find the runway through the clouds As you can see from the clouds, we didn't beat the storm by much As far as the plane goes, I like it so far. Taxiing using the differential braking is tough, but otherwise I think the SR22 is pretty well done. Hopefully I'll have some more screenshots for you guys soon. Thanks for viewing!
  2. I said I would do something different than the Airbus on my next post, so I took the Phenom 300 on a flight from Van Nuys in Southern California to Telluride, Colorado. Climbing out of a busy Southern California Turning eastbound over Las Vegas Descending through the Rockies into Telluride Passenger view on short final About to touchdown on runway 9 Enjoying the view before heading to Nashville This was a nice, short flight with a great tailwind that had out ground speed at 515+ knots for much of the flight. Thanks for viewing!
  3. Reaching Leg 50 of your around the world journey is a pretty big milestone and quite impressive! I've enjoyed following your posts along the way, nice job!
  4. Thanks for the kind words everyone, I appreciate it!
  5. I promise I don't always fly at dawn and dusk just because it look great, in fact my last few flights were during daytime hours, but here's some shots from my dawn departure from a rainy Boston as we headed south to Miami with the American Airlines a321. Departing runway 22R Climbing above the clouds and turning southbound as the sun begins to rise Just about three hours later we start our turn off the coast of Miami as we head towards a busy MIA Passing Miami International off the wing as we continue on the arrival The approach and landing was busy so I didn't get anymore screenshots, but Miami really kills my frames so there wasn't much to see anyway. Next flight I'll try to do something other than the Airbus and maybe I'll mix in a few daytime shots too.
  6. Thanks everyone! Michael, you're right about not wanting to be on that flight. The nice thing about the virtual world is if we get into a bad situation, and in my case are too tired to worry about how to correct it, you can just close the sim, haha!
  7. I attempted to do a flight from CLT-SLC this evening, but unfortunately a last minute runway change through the flightplan and the aircraft for a loop so I ended the flight before I was able to land. I had some shots from the departure though so I figured I would post them anyway. American Airlines a320 from Charlotte to Salt Lake City
  8. Thank you! I'm using FSX-SE, Active Sky 16 weather engine and the cloud textures are from REX-4. I feel like I've been tweaking FSX forever looking for a good balance between stability and visuals, so I was happy with how this flight turned out.
  9. This is my first time posting screenshots here, so hopefully they come out okay! I've spent most of my flight sim time in the US and surround vacation spots in the Caribbean and Mexico, so this is only my second time flying in Europe. EasyJet 8507 from London Gatwick to Keflavik. All this time I've heard how poor the weather usually is in Europe, but on both flights I've done out of Gatwick the weather has been very nice. The arrival into Keflavik didn't disappoint though as storms had just cleared out of the area making for some nice cloud shots as we descended and landed. Departing London in nice weather Descending into Keflavik above the storms The stormy weather starts to clear out as we near the turn to final On final for runway 01 On time arrival at the gate Thanks for viewing!
