  1. Just my opinion. .Youi have WAY too many variables active to even remotely trouble shoot your issue. I suspect you may have one of three issues but there is a slight possibility of something obscure. I am suggesting this as a plan, as it goes from the most easy to try to the more complicated. The KEY, DON'T add multiple variables as you proceed through the tests!! First, eliminate NZXT, put EVERYTTHING back to stock (memory without xmp boost), and kill ALL the programs you have running in background. Take everything out of the community folder, liveries included. Now try to run MSTS. If no crash, add things back ONE at a time. If it still crashes, my first guess is a bad GPU capacitor or bad GPU memory. Since you have a computer shop you are working with, see if they will swap out your GPU with another card temporarily, and see if that solves the issue. The Nvidea 3000 series GPUs had a known flaw in the filter capacitor from many asemblers, who didn't follow the spec capacitor from Nvidea. If you still crash. I would look at your PSU. It is Very unlikely, but it could be spiking under heavy load? Remember, the key is to minimize the variables.
  2. I am not an attorney, so this isn't legal advice. That said, I think there is some reasonable understanding of what would be acceptable and what might create a problem. In general, the purpose of copyright is to protect the original creator from someone replicating their work. Thus you are free to take a photo of a Honda Civic in your driveway. A screenshot of a Boeing 757 no more enables you to model a 757 any more than a photo of an actual 757. Now where you could create problems, is if you copied a screenshot from the creators website or copied a screenshot from a forum posted by someone else, and reposted those shots in your compilation.
  3. Your CPU is older architecture which may be a problem and it is about 16% below the minimum spec Ryzen 3 1200, when running two cores. Your RX580 is a step above the minimum RX570. I suspect you can run it, but I would expect fps limitations even on low-medium settings. If you mostly fly in rural areas, you may be OK. If you plan to spend time over Paris, London, or NYC or LA, you may be not be able to tolerate the low frame rates. Also, you will only be able to run 1080p.
  4. I hope they release the 737-600 quickly, as we really need airliners for small or small gated airports. Two examples, KSAT and KDAY are large airports with small gates.
  5. I pick a point and request a decrease in cruise altitude of 8,000 feet prior to the official approach instructions.
  6. A) I think there are a number of anti-virus options at present, that are not only more advanced than Kaspersky, but also create a smaller resource footprint. B) I think it a bit naïve to think a large company in Russia can operate completely independently of government and political expediency. If you are not an arm of the apparatus, you probably can't stay in business! C) The IT pros I know do not have Kaspersky on their list of candidates. D) My AV didn't have a problem with the updates!! Some options: Bitdefender Webroot Trend Micro Scanguard Avast
  7. I am not seeing any crashes or BSOD. Do you have anything in the community folder? Is your case cooling sufficient? What kind of cooler are you running on your CPU?
  8. Maybe something is set to go dormant when there isn't activity? Try a reboot and see if you get fps back up to normal? I guess it could also be some kind of thermal protection shutting down??
  9. Try running this and post your results. https://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/
  10. If you have MS 365 or other MS software, call MS and see if they have a remedy?
  11. The 5950x does not have integrated graphics. Are you sure that is the processor you have? I think you are running integrated graphics? I guess it is possible the RTX 2080ti has partially failed, and you are only able to use a partial capability? Maybe it has a thermal protection system which has disabled most of the GPU since you are overclocking it so much?
  12. In addition to a possible faulty Flightstick, drop your CPU down to stock, set XMP to 3200 or less, and make sure you have enough cooling.
  13. Ok, that is why I used a question mark. I knew they did the fixed gear C177, I had not noticed the RG version. Thanks for adding the link.
  14. Try an RTX 3060 or an RX 6700. You have plenty of CPU and ram. What is your storage device? If you are running a HDD, I would suggest going to an SSD or M.2. These choices should work fine at 10890p or 1440p. If you plan to go to 4K, then you need an RX 6800XT or RTX 3080.
  15. The most obvious are the Douglas C-39 & C-40 (DC-2.5) military transports. These served in the Far East during WWII and some were converted to exec transports after the war. The Bell P-63-E. The earlier models were modeled, but the E variant has never been modeled. It added a larger wing and more power as well as stability tweaks. I have an FS9 .air file package in the library, but no one ever made the model. The Cessna C182RG has not been modeled since FS2002. It is a fun aircraft that is a great bridge between the C172 and the Bonanza. The retraceable gear yields much improved performance and a really sleek look. I don't think the C177RG has ever been modeled?
  16. I am also confused! Supposedly Windows 10 got corrupted but that makes him angry at MSFS? His other software still works because it is on a different machine without a corrupted operating system,. It sounds like he needs to repair the laptop operating system first. Then he may have to reinstall MSFS?
  17. Did you add any addons? Did you change any settings? Did you have a hardware malfunction? I just flew from KWDG top KPTT without any hassle. I don't usually fly in the urban areas photogrammetry affects. Did you try turning it off and rebooting?
