  1. Here is the doc from MS. The C-47B was developed to fly the Hump across the Himalayans. It used the R-1830-90 with a two stage supercharger. Only about 3,500 out of over 20,000 DC-3s built had this capability.
  2. https://press-start.com.au/news/xbox/2020/08/17/microsoft-flight-simulators-standard-deluxe-premium-edition-airports-and-planes-explained/ https://yetgamer.com/microsoft-flight-simulator-editions-comparison/ Keep in mind, this is entirely new software, and will have a learning curve.
  3. Brookfield Missouri to Corydon Iowa and San Andrés to Grand Cayman.
  4. I have made screen shots of the process of loading a plane and airports in FS2020. Note the red arrows indicate the navigation tools to use in this process. Let me know if you have specific questions? Scrolling with your mouse wheel will let you zoom in on your airport on the map.
  5. I wasn't trying to be a curmudgeon, rather to steer folks into more helpful forum sections. A lot of FS2020 questions were specific and going unanswered (Note FBW A320 question below). If those were posted in the FS2020 forum, they would get helpful response. I am sorry if the post was terse! My keyboarding isn't as agile as it once was.
  6. If you are new to the site, and have questions about navigating the website, or if you need info as to the pros and cons of each simulator choice, this is a good place to ask those questions. If you have specific questions about a specific simulator, this is not the best forum for your question!! Very few FS2020 users use this area, They all frequent the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 forum below.
  7. I strongly suspect you will get more helpful advice, if you post this in the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 forum below.
  8. I strongly suspect you will get more helpful advice, if you post this in the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 forum below.
  9. I don't have both, but I strongly suspect you will get more helpful advice, if you post this in the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 forum below.
  10. No, you would not be able to put it on a flash drive. First the program is rapidly evolving with frequent mandatory updates. Second, most of the data resides in the Cloud, to hold all the data the program uses would require close to 500 large SSDs, or millions of flash drives. Third, you need high speed data transfer rates, I suggest a large M.2 drive. BTW, I use MS Store, and I have had very few problems.
  11. KFMZ to KFBY via the closed Bruning Army Airfield. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruning_Army_Air_Field .
  12. I agree, please post your system specs and internet speed. If you don't know your system, a free program like this will give you all the info you need. https://www.ccleaner.com/speccy
  13. It might help if you posted your system specs and your internet connection speed?
  14. https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-6400-vs-AMD-FX-8350/3512vs1489 You probably can run it on lower settings. Your CPU is older but about minimum spec. The GPU is one notch above minimum RX570. The rest looks fine.
