  1. Hmm I've had to read your posting a couple of times, but I get where you are going. Interesting, and as you have pointed out, not what I really wanted to achieve. But, I like the thinking..
  2. I did try it out. No luck. With the FLT file, it took me to the airport I had saved it at (KJAX), even though I had a flight loaded from KMCO Oh well
  3. Could I then load up a saved flight plan or would doing that erase the FIT file? Interesting thought. While thinking about this, I remembered that on the 3rd party AC, PA-28 they have a save state option (in which everything that was done to the AC is saved, switches position etc)
  4. Figured the answer would be no. Oh well Thanks for the reply
  5. Is there a file (or mod) that I can adjust to have certain settings changed each and every time I start up the default C172? I have to adjust the glareshield down to off, place the flaps in the up position, hide the yokes. Sure, it does not take long, but it would be nice to get into the AC and have these items already "fixed". Yes, it may not be realistic, but that is not why I fly
  6. Hmm, will have to give that a try. It is a pain to spin the mouse wheel to get to the correct heading, lol
  7. Now that you brought this up, yes, I have had it happen. I can still click on things, however, it is a touch difficult and very annoying. I've also seen the cursor turn into a round white dot (best way to describe it)
  8. I had this almost same exact problem, except mine was about a 1/2 second stutter. Very annoying. Turns out a Microsoft update was the probably the issue. The fix (least for me), reinstall Windows 10. After that no more stutter.
  9. That is a very good point. At times, my PW manager is a touch too good and will fill in what it thinks is the password when it is actually a security challenge question, and then will try to update the PW field in the manager with the security challenge question and then save it, lol. If I am not careful the random password that was there will be replaced. Not saying this is what happened, but stranger things have occurred.
  10. Have you done a reboot and tried to log back in? Perhaps trying (if able) a different machine??
  11. I would do a visual check of your controller settings. MSFS has done some strange things with settings over the years. I understand you have a fresh copy of the sim and new bindings, however, what could it hurt
  12. Since this appears (guessing actually) to be an addon, I would surmise that you can uninstall it like it any other program. If it is placed in your Community Folder (again, not sure what this program actually does), then you should be able to just remove it from the Community Folder. If it is an actual piece of software, add/remove should take care of it.
  13. If the devolper needs it to go to a specfic location, other then the Community Folder, hopefully the installer will put it where it needs to go. Most of the time, just copy and paste it into the Community Folder and you should be good to go
  14. Interesting. Something to keep in mind for the rest of us
  15. I would suggest stress testing your GPU. Be warned though, it "could" cause damage to it, especially if it get's too hot. I would suggest some temp monitoring going on while testing. There are two that I use, of course I can't find the second one on my machine, but here is one of them-https://benchmark.unigine.com/
  16. Have you installed older drivers? I am using 528.49 myself, no problems
  17. Ouch!! Can you run MSFS without doing the Nvidia upgrade, or does it stop the sim?
  18. Someone just posted that they too upgraded their Nvidia drivers and are having issues. I suggest these two sites (I use them myself) https://www.techpowerup.com/download/techpowerup-nvcleanstall/ (to install ONLY what drivers you want to install) https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html (to remove ALL Nvidia drivers from you system)
  19. I would first go here- https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html Use that to uninstall you Nvidia drivers. Here is also a guide to how to use it- Then I would install an earlier version of NVIDIA drivers, I would not use Geforce (just my opinion) I've read/heard to many things about it and MSFS I use this software from time to time to reinstall only certain parts of the Nvidia drivers- https://www.techpowerup.com/download/techpowerup-nvcleanstall/
  20. I thought it was, but was told it is part of the install (ok, no problem there, lol) However, I cannot find what I need to do to match what I see in this you tube clip- At one minute into the video, you will see the radio stack on the right, that is what I am looking for (and when in VR he shows the back complete with seats!! Looks nice!!
  21. I saw this beautiful AC being demoed on You Tube and decided to buy it. Got the AC, flew it and loved it!!! The simmer had a mod installed, the GNS530 model variant, and I cannot find it anywhere. I suspect it may be on Github, but so far it has alluded me. I already have the GNS530 mod installed, however, the simmer said to get the model varient. Any suggestions?
  22. Have you logged out of MS Store, rebooted and tried to go back in? Sounds crazy, but you may have some corrupted data in the login. This has worked in the past for me. Also, remember that there are probably hundreds of thousands people hammering the servers trying to get the update As time goes by, the strain the on the servers will lessen.
