But you continue to post in the MSFS 2020 forum.

You realize that's not what he was asking about, correct?

FS 2024 will be a new purchase. No release date has been announced, but it may be ready near the end of 2024.
How much different will the two be, we can't be sure yet.
FS 2020 is still being supported and developed.
If you have a modern computer and enjoy flight sims then purchase FS2020.

I truly wonder what any of these later posts have anything to do with the original post.

Thanks guys. Tim, thanks very much for the Shift Z Stats mod. I've got it downloaded and I haven't quite figured out how to get it started. But I will. Thanks again.
Tres
Start a flight and press Shift Z. Once it is showing, it will automatically be there every time you start MSFS.

I'd love to see the data on this statement.
Sounds a bit far fetched,
Add up the power drawn from your components.
Then compare that with the power drawn from 2024 hardware,

For all we know it could be FS9.

That information is already inside every cockpit in every plane, no need for a new panel.

Microsoft or MSFS did not cause your hard drive to break.

Didnt yal get a su-15 as well? Over on avsim it is 13 pages of dumpster fire since the update
99% caused by incompatible add-ons I'm sure.

How??
1. You need to own MSFS.
2. Go to General Options/Experimental and click on Add New Render Window.

Glad I tested it well for you!

Opinion, yours.

Well, you can try P3D, but it looks and flys like FSX so I got my money back from LM.
You can try X plane 12 Demo. I almost kept it, but didn't care for the fake autogen scenery still.
Or save your pennies for MSFS 2024.
You can join a virtual airline or check out FS Economy to add variety. I belong to both.
I don't use motion simulators, because I use a home theater projector and screen for all my computer work, I don't even own a monitor.

You have an excuse for everything, so good luck in your battle.

Under Boot Camp you can install Windows on a Mac and then you can run FS04.
Also there are other operating systems out there not called Windows.
So I guess Microsoft does have competition, just like you are asking for.

Remember this is Microsoft we are dealing with. They have no interest in what the consumer wants, they will dictate what you buy and how you use it.
The best thing that could happen to the computer industry would be for Microsoft to have competition.
Wrong......................again. Try running your FS04 on a Mac.

People wanted a new built sim. That means that not every feature of the old sims is going to make it into the new sim. And there are plenty of options out there to add INSTANT Replay if you wish.
The sim rate - the R key
