The 9.1 patch is like a service pack for FS2004, & corrects a couple of things. (hence it's called 9.1) The 9.1 crack lets you use Fs2004 without the 4th CD in the drive. My FS9 is about 140GB & I run 9 & GW (also P3Dv4.5) off a portable 2TB drive. No lagging at all. Many thanks! I've always run Nine in Fullscreen mode but with this recent HP laptop things like the GPS flicker occasionally 1.9 gig AMD processor with 1 gig GPU. So I've been using Windowed mode lately and things have been much better. 20 fps in Fullscreen but 30 in Windowed.
