BillD22
Here's a quick shot of aircraft on approach to San Francisco International's (KSFO) two parallel runways. An American B737-800 for Runway 28R with an Air Canada A330 for 28L.
NMLW
Nice capture Bill. It's surprising how many times you can see parallel approaches in real aviation. :) Larry
Downwind66
Nice capture Bill. It's surprising how many times you can see parallel approaches in real aviation. :) Agree Larry, but at least the architect/engineer/designers allow a little breathing room for the Big Boys and the Little Guys who wish to partake! Rick

jankees
Nice shot! I tried it myself once: jk4773 by JanKees Blom, on Flickr Slapping paint on flightsim models you'll find all my FSX/P3D repaints here and all my MSFS repaints here.
Rupert
Another great shot Bill! An yes RW dual "duties" with parallel action is a fairly common. Looking out a side window and seeing a much faster aircraft passing you at any point in the takeoff or landing experience does stun you till you get used to it! And yes, most if not all of the older sims did allow cockpit side windows just like you find real world. Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow. geradflopme
Indeed, the sensation of seeing another aircraft fly past during critical phases of flight, such as takeoff or landing, can be quite overwhelming! Modern simulators strive to replicate this sensation as closely as possible, including the view from the cockpit side windows, to provide pilots with a realistic learning environment. With the ability to buy Autodesk AutoCAD LT 2021 online, we can participate in the process. It's amazing how technology has evolved to increase the accuracy of these simulators.
