Super Connie from London City to Glasgow

Recommended Posts

On a changing weather day, which almost every day in the UK, we're taking a load of tourists up to Glasgow. We're traveling about 6,500 feet low and slow so they can check out the scenery.

As is the norm with my posts, clicking on most shots will show a caption.

Enjoy,

Whoa love it love it love it!

I’ve been flying the CalCalssic connies and I can’t get enough.

Is this the Just Flight Version??

It's stock in P3D. They provide a lot of their own products there, they don't have to pay those fees that way. ;)And the Connie flies much better than the submarine or submersible they also stock as products! Not to mention the trooper or the rifle.

A good flight in the Connie and well captured Michael.  :) The British CAA might want to talk to your about a Connie at London City. :D

Today yes, when the Connie was new, no.

Thanks! Frankly I'd rather I had a flight engineer with me. I always heard those R-3350s could be pests at times. I really appreciated the functioning autopilot!! But the plane took longer to slow down than I expected. I had to do a Go Around to get slow enough to drop the gear! Having said that, she stopped on if not a dime, nothing bigger than a quarter! ;)

I was pleased Ground Control didn't try to park us by a Jetway. But I'd been happier if a stairway had been available.
