Can GPS Display Altitude?

Hi everyone! I am pretty new in this group and maybe I have not put my question in the right place. But

here is my very important question which I couldn't still find any answer for that. is it possible to show altitude on GPS screen? if yes please write me step by step. thank you in advance.

Not with the default GPS. In real life it should show up though. Perhaps the GPS at RealityXP does, I'm not sure.

I usually rely on the altimeter or I lick my finger and hold it out the window. It's pretty accurate! ;)

 

Your finger detects barometric pressure when licked? Mine only detects wind speed and direction.

Your finger detects barometric pressure when licked? Mine only detects wind speed and direction.

 

It's bionic! Built-in radar altimeter It's accurate to 1/10,000th of an RCH.;)

Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!  ✈️

I use this gauge in my F-22, but it requires you to know how to use it. It does provide an AGL altitude.

 

 

Go to the library and search for file fswaasv2.zip
