Lovely bunch Jan, thanks. The last baby looks like a DC-3 with an F-27 tail, what is it?

Thanks!

I just downloaded "fsx_b47_stratojet2_updated.zip" from this forum library. It looks very interesting so I'll try it out right now.

Enjoy it, I agree some awesome aircraft out there get far less than a fair share of attention. B-47 is an example. Early cold war jet bombers in general from both sides are under-represented in flight simming. B-36 and a handful of Soviet contemporaries too. Bests.

Never knew airplanes are capable of exhibiting human-like emotions... :)

To me, serving in a capacity "with Honor", whether applied to a person, group, or inanimate object, isn't an emotion, it's a distinctive way of acting. The C-117, the M-1 Garand, the M2 .50 cal, the Jeep, the K-Bar, there's tonnes of gear that serve(d) with honor :)

And planes sure as heck DO seem to have emotions. You don't treat them right, in their "eyes", they will sure let you know! They will even bite, if you annoy them enough :D

Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again!

HA, yeah I think it has to do with the human nature. Homo Sapiens Sapiens tend to "give life" to, and "humanize" inanimate objects. Huh, but who am I to point this one out; as an amateur astronomer, I sometimes get to entertain my fellow colleagues all the way to the tears, when we're out gazing at the heavens through our telescopes, and I start socializing with galaxies. :D

I second that!
