    • Hi Everybody,   Welcome aboard, this is an Hawaiian Airlines Flight (flight number 155), with nonstop service from Kahului (PHOG) to Honolulu (PHNL). We depart Kahului  via RWY 20, MAUI1 departure, cruise at 12,000' and arrive in Honolulu via SHLAE1 arrival into RWY 08L.   SayIntentionsAI is an enjoyable ATC program that adds a ton of realism into the mix for those that don't fly on VATSIM, or where there's no live ATC  coverage.   SayIntentionsAI Voice recognition is second to none based on what I've seen and tried, it required "ZERO" voice training! Communications ran smoothly as well as changing frequencies.    With that said, the program is still in a beta state of production, as such has some issues/bugs that need to be worked out. Once these items have been corrected, I'm sure I'll be using this program in all my future rides.   SayIntentionsAI is a great addon that takes ATC communication to levels unmatched in prior flight simulator programs.   Using: X-Plane 12.1 | Zibo Mod | Flightdeck Solutions | Home cockpit | Boeing 737   "Hope you enjoy the ride"
    • Thanks Chris much appreciated for the file that will come in very handy
    • Yes, I am always wrong.    Mac is not competition to Microsoft because they do not run the same software.   If there were an option to windows that would run the same software then Microsoft would have competition.   You have an option of what TV to buy because they all receive the same channels;  you have an option what car to buy because they all run on the same highways;  there is no option to Microsoft ...so they dictate the market.
    • Wrong......................again. Try running your FS04 on a Mac.
    • I know I'm really late to the party but I wanted to let you know that I am experiencing the same issue. Sometimes this happens and sometimes it doesn't.
    • Remember this is Microsoft we are dealing with.  They have no interest in what the consumer wants, they will dictate what you buy and how you use it.   The best thing that could happen to the computer industry would be for Microsoft to have competition.
    • MSFS is also designed for Xbox Series X|S consoles, which have a Quick Resume feature built into the OS. The developers, Asobo and Xbox Studios, have decided that it isn't required in the sim itself.

    • RIP Bud.   His autobiography To Fly And Fight is an enjoyable read and, along with Yeager by Chuck Yeager and Forever Flying by Bob Hoover provides a very good look at the European air war in WW II, as well as an excellent look at postwar test flying from an inside perspective. Those three books are, to me, a core "trilogy" of aviation, along with Ernest Gann's Fate is the Hunter and a couple more, to get an uncommon perspective on WW II and the Korean War eras.   https://www.military.com/history/clarence-bud-anderson-last-world-war-ii-triple-ace-dies-102.html?ESRC=eb_240521.nl&utm_medium=email&utm_source=eb&utm_campaign=20240521
    • People wanted a new built sim. That means that not every feature of the old sims is going to make it into the new sim. And there are plenty of options out there to add INSTANT Replay if you wish.
    • I haven't even tried MSFS. I am still very happy using FS2004, FSX, and P3d v4.5, which runs beautifully on my rig.  I wasn't remotely interested in MSFS. And can't say now I am going to buy the newest version. I also have bought so many fantastic add ons throught the years, still enjoy them!
    • When you're ready for it, then I really do believe that P3D v. 4 and above will amaze you. I started with v. 4 and was hooked immediately. Today, I have v. 5 and v. 6. but my favorite is v. 5.   The only drawback is that P3D is pretty demanding on the hardware.   Jorgen
    • Ten Challenging PNG Mountain Strips In MSFS 2020 By Frank's MS Flight Sim   Come test your mountain flying skills in MSFS with these ten challenging strips in Papua New Guinea (PNG). Developer Orbx has so far produced PNG Highlands Bush Strips Packs 1 and 2, at quite a low cost. See how I go in MSFS, and see some real-life footage as well. Although YouTuber Missionary Bush Pilot flies a Kodiak in PNG, we'll take a Cessna Caravan with his livery. Hope you enjoy. Cheers.     Frank's MS Flight Sim   https://www.youtube.com/@FranksMSFlightSimulator About Frank's MS Flight Sim New channel begun in 2021. Visit notable airfields and areas in Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS). Themes so far include: WW2; Bush/Mt./Water/Outback strips; “Golden Oldie” strips; heritage/vintage strips; and aircraft accident investigations. More different themes to come. Expect a new video roughly each week. Provides brief, interesting information, often with history, geography, maps, pictures etc, and great places to fly in MSFS. Focus is on interesting content rather than production values.
    • The old adage "build a better mousetrap" apparently doesn't mean much to whomever decides what we get in MSFS2020. Not being able to save flights (like in the past) and lack of "INSTANT Replay"(also like in the past) are two key omissions that should be addressed. Surely, they sold enough copies of 2020 to give the buyers these features...and more!
