peer01
After a very important business lunch, I decided to enjoy you all with a daring flight show in my lethal De Havilland WW 1 fighter. I planned it as a masterclass "wheel washing". Well, I washed my wheels. And some other things. I'll show you this event before you may read something in a newspaper. I assure you I'm NOT to blame because it wasn't my fault. Honest. Talking about "tough manoevres" Perhaps one of you can call a tow truck? And a life boat? lifejogger
Which should we call first the tow truck or the life boat? Also you know you are suppose to level out the plane before you hit the water. :D [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

PhantomTweak
He washed the wheels, wings, fuselage, his sinuses... In other words, a normal landing for The Superior Airman. Pat☺ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again! Rupert
Great approach and final Jan!! I'm sure your trusty crew chief, who obviously did the preflightt inspection, missed something. The floats. Sorry to say, it's hard to get good help these days here as well. ;) Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
