Yes - back in 2001 a Chinese fighter that was intercepting it collided with an Aries. The fighter went down and the Aries barely managed to stay airborne and make an emergency landing at a nearby Chinese airfield. The crew was detained for several weks before being allowed to return to the U.S. The plane was eventually disassembled and reurned to the U.S. but not before the Chinese thoroughly checked out all the top secret gear.
