Still in Italy as we pass over the Valtellina and Lake Mezzola that lies to the northeast of Lake Como. 13. We have crossed into Switzerland over the Swiss Alps about 60 nm from Zurich. 14. Descending through 12,000 feet about 28 nm from Zurich. Off to the right we see Lake Klontal, a natural lake used as a reservoir. 15. Descending through 6,000 feet over the southern end of Lake Zurich we turn toward the north. 16. Now down to 4,000 feet we have circled the city to set up our approach to runway 16 at Zurich. 17. We have the runway in sight and continue our approach with gear down and flaps 32. 18. Less than a mile out we are lined up on final approach with flaps 40. 19. Touchdown. 20. Turning off the runway and receiving parking information from ground control. 21. Parked, engines and all systems shut down and passengers disembarked. Thanks for flying Aer Lingus.
