neilking2706
Is there a line of code somewhere I can adjust to slow it down a bit? (in case it's relevant, the a/c concerned is fsx_pa319_tap_portugal.zip) Thanks
tiger1962
The strobe effect can be edited, it'll be the one named in the aircraft.cfg [Lights] section. In the FSX Effects folder, open the strobe .fx file named in the aircraft.cfg and in each [Emitter] section, change the Rate to: Rate=0.50, 0.50 (as in the default fx_strobe.fx file). Or just rename the offending strobe effect in the aircraft.cfg [Lights] section to the default fx_strobe.fx. Tim Wright "The older I get, the better I was..." Downwind66
Neil - This may or may not apply in your case, but, if the Simulation rate is bumped up to say 2X, it too will also speed up the beacon/strobe flashing! I did find Tim's solution interesting, I never knew about that fix! Rick
