I had the "Posky Problem" too along with zero working instruments and no throttles in the quadrant.

Got tired of trying to fix it and hit the Delete. No More Problem.

I would have thought that a "complete" model would have a VC, this aircraft doesn't have one and some of the gauges aren't compatible as they are for FS9.

 

And I'm wondering about this being a "NEW" entry also. The version notation states:

"Viewing: Project Airbus A319-132 philippines sharklet/VERSION.txt 2014-09-08,v2.2"

 

I'm confused?

Go to Avsim and plug in "3D People Library" in the search block you'll come up with the FSX conversion of this file.

The aircraft won't show up in your thumbnails because the word "thumbnail" is misspelled.

Easy fix to a very minor glitch. :-) Really nice texture!!

That's rather rude. The guy does all this work and gives it away and you complain about a list. Do what I just did, the ones you don't know look'em up yourself.

Downloaded and installed last night. Flew around it for an hour or so and I must say IMHO this is damn near payware quality. Great detail! All the building and parking lots seem to be situated as they should be with ramps ending at the hangar doors instead of 20 feet away as some Microsoft default scenery does. A thoroughly enjoyable spot to call home base.

the wheels and tires could use a little work. Rolling down the runway they look out of round by quite a bit.

 

The MBL file for the model with tip tanks is missing.

 

Great paint jobs! The detail in the camo schemes is outstanding.

Is this an updated version of the file that was here on 12/13/17 ? The original was very nicely done.

sstrokash - Thanks for finding that. Did Rob update his website? I used my bookmark to go to his home page and it shows the "original" one with the sub-heading "Freeware models for Microsoft FSX acceleration". The home page you found has the sub-heading "Freeware Flight simulator models".

There is no Fairey Barracuda listed in the Prop Downloads section of Rob Richardson's site.

Not that I could find anyhow. I really would like to find one and this is a great looking repaint.

I sent Rob an email yesterday but he hasn't replied yet.

By any chance is anyone else having problems downloading Rob Richardson's original Acceleration Airspeed Ambassador Mk2. from his website. It looks like everything else is downloadable except for the two models of the Airspeed Ambassador. I've tried it using I.E. and Firefox. No luck.

I downloaded this model and tried it out in FSX. It doesn't look anything like the thumbnail in the file.

Quite honestly it's very crude. Sorry, but that's a fair evaluation.

Very disappointing because other than these small glitches it's a great aircraft.

Am I the only one experiencing this? The nose wheel only goes to the left although when you turn to the right the aircraft does turn that way. Second: When you go to right aileron up they both droop and then snap back to neutral position, when you go to left aileron up they both go up. How can I fix this? I've downloaded this aircraft twice and no difference.

This aircraft works pretty good on my computer too. I applied the CFG tweeks suggested above and it handles fine except for one item...Has anyone else had a problem with the nose wheel steering? The aircraft will turn in both directions BUT the nose wheel only turns to the left. In a right turn the aircraft turns but the nose wheel stays straight. Any idea how I can correct this would be greatly appreciated.

I think I know the problem here- at least it was my problem which I solved. Look at the account name very carefully. The second letter is an l (small L ) On my screen it looked like an i (eye). Once I plugged in "l" it worked fine. It might also help to join the site too. Hope this helps.

Another update ( not that anyone cares evidently) Just tried to download the file via IE9 instead of Firefox. Still no joy.

P.S. Yes, I tried it several times last night (27 Sept) up until 2330 and again this morning.

Could not download either. Site asks for User Name and Password but after clicking on "Ok" the same "Authentication Required" box pops up again. Fill it in a second time and still nothing.
