  1. Remember guys, FS2020 is version 1.0. Improvements to flight dynamics, additional aircraft etc. will come. This version was released because of the implementation in new technology and the most realistic scenery to fly anywhere in the world right out of the box with zero add-ons. The result is a whole new generation of enthusiasts all over the world thrilled to experience the sensation of flight for the very first time. Give it some time because this is the future of flight simulation as technology moves forward.
  2. This is my current setup..

The sim showing is actually x-plane as I took the photo a few weeks ago. I'm not using x-plane now of course :)

When I upgraded my GPUs to the RTX2080ti I also had to get a new psu as my old one wasn’t quite up to spec. I don’t know how much power the 30 series will need but it’s worth getting s good psu (& at least 700w)

Sweet set up. I haven’t touched X-Plane either since the release of FS2020. By the time the Falcon 8X is released by Aerobask, hopefully some study level a/c will be available for FS2020.

  3. All Microsoft Sidewinders are USB and thus 'plug-n-play' and require no drivers. I don't know if the Force Feedback will work in FS2020. Also not sure if other models (Pro, etc) will work as intended. But the Sidewinder Precision 2 is a sure bet to work good (I have one - for 10 yrs - it works like new.)

    Good to know! Thanks!

  4. Well said.

If we use any flight simulator to simulate what a pilot does then there's not much time to take in the view close to the ground and at cruising altitude you don't see much on the ground.

The extra aircraft would be good for those who want to use them.

Pylon racers will appreciate the scenery.

Quite true guys. Other posts criticizing inaccurate cloud shadowing, ambient occlusion, double shadows etc would rarely be picked up in true flight. If you are hand flying at lower altitudes for a VFR flight, you are panning straight ahead and watching your gauges. You are certainly not starring at the scenery below.
