2: try typing devmgmt.msc in run box  or space at bottom left/then in device management top menu/ show hidden devices/ find Cd, update driver, from both choices, local and or windows update, roll back driver, if nothing delete CD driver, restart or top Menu / Action/ Scan for changes 1 should bring it back,.

I'm not a big Win 11 user, I have definitely had my CD drive do nothing on Win 10 when inserted, I've swapped it out etc., I "Usually" get it,

FWIW My videos, the first 11, most recent, were created with Xbox recorder  for windows (Start +G) and MSFT ClipChamp? to add music. The next 20+videos were done with fraps + 2 other programs xvid and NCH, what a pain, took days, Xbox is a God send if you like recording and posting vids...

There is no option to load/ Select under the Flight tab! Reset-Save-Flight Planner-Nav log-End-Exit

In flight planner you can hit load and it will bring up my saved flights, and or the flight plans...

My saved flights and flight plans have always been in Documents.

I can pull up my FS9 folder, and or FSX and they're there.

My program files folder is just the program, Scenery, Planes, exe, etc...

My %AppData%???.* folder is more or less just the config file

I installed the 2 fsx disks, not the Acceleration.

I created a flight VHHX Old Hong Kong, 2  Bangkok VTBD, used the 747,(wound up in Middle of Apron) set Radio/gps Altitude etc.  I taxied to take-off position, Saved. 

I took off, put it on auto pilot once I was up, saved. I then quit to work...

I turned it on again and wound up with default KLAX 2 KSEA, and a Airbus.

When I clicked on select flight, there were none. I went to flight planner, load, and it was there, but I had to redo everything again!

There is no option to select saved flights. The Planner files are in the Documents folder, along with saved flights, still no option to select flight...

I've been watching the Live streams of P3DX? videos too...

I've been flying, building (Freeware)scenery/planes in FS9/2004 for 20 years posting videos on YouTube etc.

I've been Using FS since '93, DOS through Win10.

I've had MSFT X since  whenever, just never really used it. I have so much work in 2004...

I'm going to install it again, get my Camsims, Project opensky, all my Air Buses, Boeings, Antonovs, etc., back, and of course rebuild a boatload of scenery.

Well 1st I'm going to see if I like the program, I never really gave it a chance!

Do I need a no CD crack, or any patches?

Anybody have a clue why Suvarnabhumi Airport and Bangkok international airport freezes?

I can land there, sometimes, but freezes when I stop, retract flaps, change view etc.

If I select a flight and click go to those Airport MSFT 2004 quits responding, I've Go to use task manager to kill the program...

I  did a system restore, thought it might have been a plane I installed yesterday an A320-200 original aircraft with a self installer. when that failed I restored my computer to an Acronis full system backup from 3 weeks ago, No Joy...

I've got Bangkok 2004 addon scenery, but it's never been a problem b4.

It's been a few months since I've been there, I don't recall adding any other scenery since...

Any Ideas?

Pilot error? I landed those planes, If you're talking about the 747 in a monsoon  PHNL 2 KSAN, that particular plane's gear did not offer resistance when deployed + restarting the flight you don't get power for a few seconds, and drop like a rock. (When talking about a video name which 1 please)
