  1. Thanks Larry! With this virus garbage around here lately she needs it. LOL.
  2. Yeah, there are some items from time to time, but the sim is still very much in its infancy, so it will be able to be fixed quite nicely with downloadable updates from time to time I'm sure.
  3. Always enjoy seeing Miss Liberty. Thanks Michael!
  4. Ahnhhhh, how about a take off and LANDING! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT! DO IT!
  5. No Prob Bill, I got back just recently myself! Miss these boards! Amazing sim, isn't it? I can't wait til VR gets implemented for it!
  6. Thanks David! Yeah, I've reported that to the Developers, even as a beta tester. I'm surprised they never fixed it.
  7. Sure, if you don't like flying over real scenery. Otherwise the best is FS2020!
  8. Welcome back! Oh, and don't mind the naysayers on FS2020 - to me it is the most incredible simulator ever created, and even though it is in its infancy, it has plenty of room to grow. You'll LOVE IT!
  9. A Labeled Shot of Providence, RI from MSFS 2020. I labeled as much as I could remember from my days working at JWU, before it became a big mess Have a great night all!
  10. Bob, you're in luck. I read in an FS Elite article, every 28 days they are going to update the sim's Map Data. So it should be fairly accurate I think with the next update. Just LOVE LOVE LOVE the new sim!
  11. Approaching Salem South Salem and Salem Lynn, Massachusetts and Nahant Biddleford, Maine Leaving Biddleford Leaving Prout's Neck Approaching Portland Portland from the Robin! Lined up for Approach Amazing how detailed FS2020 truly is. Always dreamed of a sim like this. Amazing!!!!!
  12. Todays flight is a journey from Providence, RI (KPVD) to Portland International Jetport Weather settings were scattered clouds since it was too clear for me to do a flight, as I want something to enjoy looking at while I fly. Taking off, PVD Climbing Out Doing a circle around the city of Providence. Too many to label for this post, but I'll do a post later with the labels of what we are looking at. Primarily, Providence is basically one big College Campus, so for the most part it will be school buildings owned by Johnson & Wales University. Leaving Providence Passing over into Massachusetts Approaching Boston! Boston from our Robin - You can see the Prudential Center, and John Hancock Center A wide angle view of Boston. Remember many Star Trek conventions in this city, as well as Cheers; which inspired the TV Show of the same name. Sadly Cheers is closing. Another victim of Covid 19. Leaving Boston, peaking out under the clouds. Part two Continued:
  13. Thanks John! Glad you liked them! Its amazing how accurate this sim is, one of the best yet.
  14. Thanks David! If I can suggest, you might want to purchase a new system altogether. Check out what's available at thermaltake. That's who built my computer. Its good for both, 3D Content Creation which is what i do for a living outside of Flight Sim, and stressed to them how good it had to be for simming as well for my hobby. I can run it ULTRA Settings on my computer. Here's a picture of the system, which I call "Little Chernobyl" for the acid green florescent dye they put in the liquid coolant. I think a new build might be better for you and you can keep your old system for storage, or anything else you might do perhaps that's work related, etc on it. The 16gb of ram worry me as well as the Video Card and Processor.
  15. Hey, thanks Michael, and great shots! You really don't have to worry about many major bugs in the sim. Its a little bit different to get used to with the camera controls, and mapping controls, but really its not that bad. I'd take the plunge. 119 for the premium, and always go max. Not sure if you can buy the different aircraft in the sim if you don't as download content. Oh, one tip - one bug I found, is an autopilot bug, that if you pause the sim, with the autopilot engaged, it will nose dive on you after you reengage the sim unpausing it. That's really the biggest flaw I've discovered.
