Hard drive is way too small. You should have a minimum of 1 terabyte. 32 megs of ram would be nice too.

If u look at the Microsoft Flight Simulator website you'll see that for optimal enjoyment you'll need 32 gigs of ram and u should have a 1 terabyte hardrive at least since the game will want to cache your favourite sceneries. So basically u need a decent CPU but 32 gigs of ram lots of SSD hardrive space and 8 gigs of video memory. Sorry for the bad news.

Ok so I can't copy the links into this forum but there are several links in the Microsoft flight simulator forum. U just remap the keys in the camera menu . Inside camera menu there is sub heading cockpit and external.view. Decouple your hat switch from quick view left, right, up, down, to look right, look left, look up, look down.

I bought an MSI GE75 specifically for MSFS. I got the one with the GTX 2080s graphics card, 32 gigs of ram, 1 hardrive with 1T ssd and a second hardrive with 1 T 7200 hardrive. It runs the new simulator great. Super smooth and less than a minute load times. Couldn't be happier.

I've been a simmer for years. I love the auto control. Sometimes I just want to get up and enjoy the scenery and watch the airplane. And the showcase mode means there's so much more to observe. The auto control is a nice feature sometimes and u still have total realism for purists. There's something for everyone here.

So I finished downloading at 22 noon yesterday. Which was 12 hours after I started. I pulled my laptop into an ethernet line and that gave me a little burst of doped for a few minutes and seemed to get me over a hump. After downloaded I set some parameters and stated up the game. As soon as I was loaded and on a runway the game froze several times so I closed it and shut down my computer and restarted it and restarted the flight simulator. I loaded up downsview airport in Toronto and it froze once or twice more and then I got it going just by waiting. Since then it's been smooth as silk. I've flown over Toronto, Ottawa, Florida and Bermuda. It's amazing. Photo quality like I can't believe and very smooth. Seems like the custom joystick settings come undone once in a while and I reset them. But overall it's a true masterpiece.

Going on 12 hours for me in Toronto. I have download speeds of 50 MPs or greater on all devices but when this flight simulator is downloading at a snails pace. Still have 10 percent to go.

My wife of 32 years is super excited for me. She totally gets my passion for aviation since she's been with me since we were kids. she'll watch me start the download at midnight and then we'll hit the sack till 5 or 6 am then we'll be up for the day and i'll get the whole day to flight sim. After 32 years she's still a cool and cute lady !!!

Now I'm no computer guru but I have been playing Microsoft Flight Simulator since FS98. I just got a new computer for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator. I only install operating system and Flight simulator on c drive so my c drive is exclusive for operating system and Flight simulator. All my music, pictures, videos, dowloads, and even fs downloads go to my d drive. Each drive is 1 tb.

It's been very slow for me too !

I have very little interest in VR. Playing flight simulator on a 55 inch tv or bigger is fantastic. A wrap around screen or horse shoe set of monitors is also quite life like. And those options are easier to set up and I can still see my keyboard and flight controls.

No one knows how much it will cost. But given the scenery,airplanes, expandability, weather engine,and multiplayer not to mention Microsoft and Asobo's expertise I'd pay 200 usd for it no problem. You get to tour the whole world in photoreal scenery with any plane u want.

I read that we will be able to bring existing assets over from previous flight simulator. It wasa writen in one of MSFS updates..
