Thanks for the tips for the AW109. Got it working well. Just realised I didn't fly it long enough to check the avionic problem - will check this soon. Sorry if asking about my other post was too much - just frustrating not being able to get the object placer to work! Thanks -

Hi all, After upgrading my system I have opted for the Nemeth AW109. 2 problems, one is that the engines won't ignite (starter engages but won't light). Second is that after about 7-8 minutes of flying (I got the engines started a few times) the avionics crash and I lose the map and the artificial horizon droops down and doesn't depict the horizon. I am starting each flight in the default C172, switching the battery and alternator off but leaving the avionics switch on, magnetos to both, and mixture fully rich (after the engine stops). I also leave the beacon light switch on. Any help appreciated! Thanks

Hi all, Have recently upgraded my system. Looking to activate the object placer again. Have unhidden files and gone through AppData etc to the fsx file under users/appdata/roaming/Microsoft/fsx but there is no relevant dll.xml file. The one that I have has no mention of an object placer. I have a dll.xml.bak file but there's no mention of the object placer there either. Have followed the instructions at this link https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=437716297 yet still can't get the object placer to work. Please help! Thanks

Hi all, Have recently installed HDE Sky Textures, some AI Traffic, and ORBX Global. Now that I have attempted to fly again, I have the problem that the battery switch on the default 172 doesn't work, flip it off and everything remains powered and the battery sound is still there. I tried pressing Shift M which worked once but hasn't worked again. Also, my Carenado Phenom 300 has had a malfunction in the form of the exterior not showing properly (there are gaps in the exterior and looks terrible). Please let me know of any possible solutions. Hi all, Have just got and flown the Wilco P2006. Great machine IMHO but one problem exists. This is when, and apparently only when, I stop the aircraft on the ground, the engines stop. For example as I lined up the aircraft pre-takeoff the engines stopped. Same happened as I stopped after landing. Any suggestions as to what the cause of this might be? A fix would be useful! Thanks

Indeed I'll try the FS9 version when I get a chance. Have had problems re gauges with fs9 aircraft though, where should the gauges be placed (in terms of file location) for FSX steam? Also, you guys got any ideas re the continuous start up sound when installing ec120 sounds onto (I forget the designers name but can get it for you if need be) the EC130??

Hi all, I am trying to find a Bell 429 for FSX, to no avail!! There's this one but I can't find the base pack i.e. this is just a repaint. There ARE base packs for a 429 available but I can only find them for FS9. My question is, will the FS9 base pack work in FSX? If not, where may I find a 429 for FSX? Thanks

Hi all, I have searched for hours upon hours for an answer to this. I have purchased and downloaded Instant Scenery 3 however it just won't appear in the add-on menu whilst in FSX. I use FSX through steam and have looked at countless pages on what might be a fix for this, to no avial!! Please let me know your thoughts on how I can get IS3 working. Kind regards
