  1. in case you would like to watch it, I made a video on how to make FS9 look realistic for free in 2019. it has all the links with it. also there is this video for Active Camera. it has not been for sale for a long time but is still a very good addon. hope this helps!
  2. Aww allows the vehicles to interact with the aircraft. It is like GSX for fs9. There is a list of compatible airports online that you can look at. It can become pricey as you have to purchase credits, but the effect in gained realism is worth it.
  3. The moving vehicles are from SEA, which is only available at certain payware airports. That is how i got the jet bridge by the plane and the walking guy. I'm working on my new intro at the moment so I will be using that with my new videos. The old one isn't my favorite.
  4. yep. it's me. trying to grow a channel on an old sim. :)
  5. I have tried my hand at making a FS2004 movie using the limited camera modules we have to use. it is for the Wilco A320. enjoy!
  6. the default 737-400 is very bad flight dynamics wise. don't expect it to fly at all like a good plane. however the key is fuel loading, weight, and speed. as a certified VA 737 instructor flying the study level 737s, hopefully these tips can help. 1. fuel: load the wings with fuel first. 2. Control: small movements are key to landing this plane. final approach should be between 140 to 145kts at flaps 30. this all changes with weight, but a good guess would be 140 to start. adjust from there. controlling your descent with your thrust levers is much more useful than trying to use the yoke all the time. only use it for very large adjustments. 3. remember to not overthink it. with a little practice it will come to you. I suggest watching landings to get a feel for how the approach should look. my last suggestion would be to find a decent addon 737. I use the Ifly 737 for FS2004 and it is the best out there. it is worth the price and having an FMC is very helpful Happy flights
  7. hello! I have something that you may enjoy, though photos are out of the question from me, as I live on the opposite side of the country, but have you ever thought about making an actual boeing field? we have FlyTampa Seattle, but that is all. we are missing Boeing field, Renton, and Paine, which is now a commercial airport for Alaska Airlines! any of these would be a great addition, and a realistic boeing field approaching Seattle would be an awesome experience! This is just a suggestion, but I think it is time that FS9 get a proper boeing field makeover!
  8. simple. just upgrade to FS9 and treat yourself to the same FPS and much better graphics!
  10. I can agree with some of your points, and for those who have been on these forums for a very long time, your knowledge is invaluable. however one major front almost all of these websites lack is the ability to post a good amount of videos and screenshots. sure you can post screenshots on these websites, but it is very hard to do with ease. the big reason for the facebook group is to help those who are new or have questions about the sim. if they wish to upload a file, we will direct them to avsim and flightsim to upload their file to keep these sites running. my only belief is that for flight simulation to keep up, we may have to expand beyond these forums into other forms of chats. that is all. I only posted the link here so if anyone was interested they could join, if not, they don't have to.
  11. Hello everyone! We are starting a new FS2004 group on Facebook designed to help, support, and share our experience and best screenshots to the community! Some of our members are still developing for fs2004 and your knowledge would be of great use! If you have Facebook and would like to join us, I'll put the link below! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1947180468719584/
  12. I have the old version of these textures, but I found them to have an odd tint to them. at night, they looked stunning, but during the day, it seemed a bit fake, especially since I don't use a post processing plugin such as enb series or sweetfx. I currently use ORBX converted textures. is there a way to get the 3D lights without transferring all the textures?
