    Hi, please checkout all textures! Because of the many development files maybe I have overseen DXT5 textures. This works properly in FSX but crashes FS2004! Convert DXT5 to DXT3 than it works. Or contact me via my e-mail! Sorry for inconvinience! Erwin Welker

    Hi torbenpeter, the reason are for FS9 incomptible glossy textures with Alphachannel, saved as Extended bitmaps in DXT5 format. You can convert it by yourself using the DxtBmp tool by loading the included Alphachannel.bmp and saving it as Extended bitmaps in DXT3 format. The problematic textures are Fuselage, Wings, Yacht and maybe you have to replace the Prop texture with another one, renaming it to prop_blurred.bmp. A complete upgraded FS9-version is in progress.     Hi guys, you easily can replace the texture for the VC glass "Interior_glass_t" with any glass texture you like. Choose one after your choice and replace the current texture with the new and rename that to Interior_glass_t. That's it! Erwin Welker

    Strange collection of ships! Charles F. Adams Class destroyers with missiles in WWII? German WWII S-100 speed patrols boats at Midway? I-400 submarine carriers with missing hangar parts? %u0025 or 6 battleships of the Yamato class even only 2 was buildt? By the way: The destroyer and the submarines are made by me. But nobody asked me for permission and no credits are given to anybody! Very doubtful scenery! Erwin Welker

    This scenery is exctremly beautiful and detailed! I love it and I guess this is one of the most detailed freeware sceneries. Look also for the upgrade from March 2020, which makes this addon more perfect! Very recommended for VFR-flights! Take a helicopter to circle arround Krakow or fly in a glider to enjoy the pretty area arround the city to find all the castles and monasterise. I myself explore the area even with a boat on the river or I visit the great landmarks with my selfmade sportcars to enjoy the pretty buildings from closest distance.     CFS2 Erwin Welker BV238C. This huge aircraft made its first flight in April 1944 and was rather a flying ship than a boat, bigger than the BV-222, and was the heaviest aircraft of WWII. The Spruce Goose with eight engines was even much bigger but she was buildt at the end of the war and never did a real flight except a test taxiing with a short moment of being airborne. Only one BV-238 performed successful flights, the two other prototypes were never completed. The FS-model shows the heavy armed planned long range bomber version, which was never completed. It comes with two paint schemes: winter and green. The BV238 is a gentle giant. She takes off smoothly, even with full load. Cutting the engines, you enter a gentle descent with a pitch down nose attitude. Just push your joystick up and she lands quietly at the right angle. You can program the autopilot using an historical German flight director (you can only mark your direction, no altitude control). Special thanks to Erwin Welker and Maverickcfs2.     Hi wji948 I have tested in FSX and in P3dV3. Also some friends has tested successfully in FSX. The Clipper flies extremly smooth. It should be very easy to go airborn and same easy to do landings. I recommend to turn crash detection off! Maybe this helps! Erwin Welker

    Hi valann, hi FS2004 users! thanks for the information! About the shine: A:This model is compatible with repaints. So you can use also other paints but you have to us MY Prop textures!" B: Create a 256x256 bitmap in a very bright grey. This is your alphachannel. Edit my external textures with DxtBmp, import an Alphachannel (the grey bitmap you have created) and save this in dxt3 format. So darker the Alphachanel, so more shine; so brighter so less shine! About the FS9 freeze: Maybe there is a set of gauges incompatible with FS2004. Since I do not have anymore FS2004 I can not test it by my own. Sorry! Please try to disable suspicius gauges by setting // in front of the gauge in the Panel,cfg. If it then works you know which gauges has to be replaced with others. Erwin Welker
