  1. Mike Stone is a legend, many thought his planes were simple, but they fly beautiful and look really good. After you get all his planes check out the many repaints available for any of his great creations.
  2. You are right Skywatcher12, I love FS9. I'm glad MSFS 2020 was issued, but I still have a lot of fun flying the old girl. I always wondered if FS9 could be rebuilt with some of today's technology.
  3. I'm going to pass on this one ussmidway. I did some reasearch and found that the program deletes addon sceneries and I'd really hate to lose them. I never could figure out World of AI, so I thought this might be fun to use.
  4. I love the Boeing 737-200 for FS9 and I am always looking for different Boeing 737-200 files uploaded to Flightsim.com. In the FS2002 section I found some fun Boeing's by YeoDesign. The model is very good and there are many repaints available. Just search YeoDesign and give it a try.
  5. Hello, I'd like to try the free program MyTraffic 2006 for FS9, but I have read it is a nightmare to uninstall. Is there a way to install this program to try then easily remove it if it doesn't seem to be something I want to use. Thank you
  6. Milton's planes have to be flown and boy do they fly good. The same with Tom Gibson's and HJG planes, just so much fun to use, we are so lucky to have developers like them.
  7. Just loaded the Republic XP-72, your right it is really a nice plane. Sounds great too!

    Milton Shupe

Whenever I get the urge for something special to fly, I just go to "search all files" and type in Milton Shupe's name. Milton Shupe and company provide high quality downloads, for both FS9 and FSX, all with awesome attention to detail and they are free of charge. I am currently mastering his Grumman G-73AT Mallard in FS9. Give him a try, you wont be disappointed.
  9. Hello, I like searching deep into the old aircraft files and see what I can find. Here are a couple that look good and fly well. Beechcraft Debonair, single prop GA aircraft. Created by James Eden and Geoffrey Applegate, this plane won Flightsim.com excellence award. It's for FS2002, but works perfectly in FS9. I swapped the panel out with the FS9 Mooney Bravo Panel for a newer modern look. The de Havilland DH104 Dove created by Derek Palmer is also great to fly and a real vintage accurate panel. Give them a try and see how well made both these planes were made. Happy Flying
  10. I remember downloading the FS9 version, it sucked, went right in the recycle bin.
  11. Thanks for the replies, I was just curious for no other reason. "FS9 Forever".
  12. Hello, I hope someone can step back a bit from FS2020 to answer a question. What is the difference between FS2k and FS Pro 2K. Is there a work around so Pro planes can be used in FS9. Thank you,
  13. Thanks all, I'll just keep these old birds well below there maximums.
  14. I understand now, I thought 10,000 feet was the threshold for humans. Thanks Tim
  15. Hello, If an airliner decompresses, the pilots immediately get down to an altitude of 10,000 feet so the passengers can breathe. Why is it that early aircraft, such as open cockpit planes, have service ceilings above 10,000 feet altitude. The Boeing Stearman has a service ceiling of 13,200 feet. What exactly does service ceiling mean? Thank you,
  16. Thank you Tom, both L1049 G and H are installed and flying High. Also thank you for your web page, a job well done.
  17. Hello, After reading about developer Manfred Jahn, I wanted to fly his wonderful creation the Lockeed L1049 Constellation. The problem I am having is just what is what with all the different files for this particular aircraft. Would someone guide me through all the files and updates so I can get in the air with this bird. There seems to be a L1049, L1049G, L1049H, and Super Constellation and many updates and CFG reconfigurations that can be downloaded. I am not new to figuring out FS9 uploads but this plane has my head spinning. Thank you,
  18. Took the Canadian Chevrolet 1533x2 30cwt 4x2 truck out to find the heads of Easter Island. The Chevy 1533 is a FS9 cool download right here on Flightsim.com.
  19. Thanks everyone for answering my question.
  20. I was wondering about the latest CFS, and what are the differences between FS9 and The latest version of CFS.

    CFS Question

Hello, Can someone tell me why CFS aircraft can't be used in FS9. Thank you
  22. What MD panel is this and where is it available?
  23. Maybe your joystick needs calibrating. Sometimes this happens to me and I find that the joystick is a little out of wack.
