You are right and i didn`t find it here again though I found about three similar files. Why? Have you tried to find it at AVSIM or Simviation? There I get the name SOcomplt.zip for this aircraft.

Hi, you are right it isn't easy to find some things in this new forum . In your (error)message I found your search as 'kabi2007.zip'. This filename is lost in flightsim.com. KABI is the ICAO code from Abilene Regional Airport Texas. So you can search by this code to find your download. I had the same problem with 'nzme_mercer-4x.zip'. I found it with 'NZME'. good luck

I think I found the solution. For some downloads at this site it is obvious necessary for users in Austria to work with VPN. I tried this with the FSX geebeez4 form the early aircraft and I had to use VPN. Now it works It works also with the yesterday searched MYGF Bahamas scenery

In my case it was a problem of VPN. Staying in Austria.

I tried a link from freewarescenery now and in principle it works. But you get not the searched download but only the home (main) site. Then I searched a old file (2012) named mygf2012.zip at the fsx files. I found the download site with three results (MYGF). But I found no possibility to download them. Maybe the timeout works for loading too long.

Hi Col, I searched AIFP.ini with Windows_Search and found it in C:\FSX\Addon Scenery\Traffic\AIFP. Perhaps your AIFPfolder is at a other place but the searchfunction should find.

Good News, according a tipp from someone in the New Forum Software forum braught me on the idea testing downloads using VPN . And it works No other website I am using needs such a thing. This is for me very strange. Greetings

Good News, I tried another download using VPN and got no 403 forbidden but the download worked.

Thank you for the quick answer. My problem is the download link. I tried it as you said but I get a error message (see the attachment) I doesn't know why but the link leads to the old forumsname. The same problem is by downloading sceneries from the freewarescenery.com. First I had the problem finding the new Flightsim.com Forum. Two weeks I thought the forum is dead! And then a friend from an other forum gave me the right websitename.

Hi, I tried to download a file which I found at the FS2004 General Aviation category, but the download button doesn`t work. The file is FS2004 Taylorcraft Auster Model Plus C. On the right side there is a black sign for initialing the download? Perhaps I forgot something? Greetings Flattermann

I only am using the unregistered Version of FSUIPC4. So it couldn't be the culprit for the irregularities.

Hi, the problem was apparently solved as a result of a tip in a neighboring forum. There a similar problem (already 2021) was treated and a solution suggestion concerned the Win10 sound settings. Under Sound_Control Panel there is a tab "Communication" under "Detection of communication activities" under four options the item "Reduce volume of other sounds by 80%". This point was - without my intervention - activated. I have now activated the item "Do nothing". After completing a longer flight, there were no more sound fluctuations :luxhello: From the text it can be seen that these settings were actually set up for phone calls made with the PC at most. So had nothing to do with my FSX, but is a WIN10 thing.

Dear FSX frieds, in the last time I had a funny problem. If I just start my FSX with for (example) a Cessna I am hearing the normal noise of the engine. But later perhaps after flying a little, the engine noise decreased to about half. Even changing the aircraft during the flight did not change anything. Pressing the Q button twice increased the noise for seconds, but then it fell back to the previous (half) noise level. Changing the aircraft during the flight makes no difference. Starting a new flight the noise again is normal until a few minutes when the engine noise decreased to about half again. I can't find out why this happen. Perhaps somebody knew a solution for this mysterium? BTW its the same problem, if the aircraft is standing with started engine. Playing music (without FSX) makes no problem, so I think it is not a problem with my soundcart.
