  1. ok after turning off the windows smart screen thing and reinstalling SF i did not get the blue screen popping up saying this program was blocked and the prerequisites for SF and the update is blank so i think now that it's SF still. and i will also see if allowing it into the fire wall helps as well.
  2. ok i will try that. though it never asked for permission from my fire will. but after doing some research and stuff on my gaming computer i have come to the conclusion that it's the SF program and not my computer. although i wonder if it could be the windows smart screen thing to? that comes up during installation. maybe i can try turning that off and try again?
  3. https://www.justflight.com/product/rex-5-sky-force-3d here is a link for the system requirements for this. and my computer more then meets these requirements. i think it might be the update they released for the program.
  4. I'm not sure what it is. I have the net frame work installed already that it needs. and all my drivers are up to date. I have more then enough hard drive space. and I have more RAM then it needs I was able to get it to work for a split second and then it crashed again. it's not FSX it's self this is a rex issue. I completely uninstalled it yesterday and even made sure it's not in the registry. maybe I will try it again today and see what happens?
  5. @JSkorna I did email them and they have not yet been much help. and @kingnorris. I'm in the same boat as you. I dumped rex essentials for sky force 3d and now it don't work at all. I'm thinking about trying to find something else that wants to work when I want to go flying with real world weather. and as of right now this rex sky force 3d ain't it:mad: the mad face ain't at you guys either by the way. I wasted 34.95$ and i have had it to long to get a refund on it.
  6. hello all. not sure if it's just me or what but I cant use Rex Sky Force 3D any more. i launch Rex then the flight simulator and i got no weather. it's not even showing up in the add-ons menu. I go to the show hidden icons and Rex is not there. I got an error about net frame work so i uninstalled rex and the update reinstalled both and it still don't work. i also checked my FSUIPC that's up to date as is my sim connect. so is it the program or my computer? I no longer get the net frame work error but the weather is not injecting into the flight simulator either. maybe it's time to find a weather program that wants to work. or take out the update and see if it works then?
  7. from KBJJ-KPCW with the A2A Beech Craft Bonanza 58.7 miles. :)
  8. i haven't been to this forum in a long time but nice shots.:)
  9. i have farming simulator 2019 and it's in the X86 folder. the default location.
  10. ah ok. well the only add-ons i use is REX 5 and REX airports HD and every thing A2A has to offer as well as the orbx trees and the precipit fx stuff. other then that my scenery is all stock. but i do use textures from the rex programs. so i am thinking it's either a texture or sound for the default airplanes. i don't use the default planes that much so i don't think i will do anything at all to them.
  11. oh ok thank you. the reason is your not supposed to put fsx into the program files X86? cause it won't work? i have put it in the default location before. but i been having a lot of issues here lately and can't go cross country any more with out the simulator crashing.
  12. i was trying to enter C:\FSX but windows won't let me do that so i will install fsx in the default location. but i am thinking that i have a conflict with the simulator and an add-on i have cause of a G3D.DLL error. which is can be textures or aircraft. well i have the 3D Lights Add-on from A2A plus a texture from here for strobe lights which i think could cause an issue
  13. i had to reformat my computer and i got just one simulator in right now. and i want to put my flight simulator back in but i can't make a separate folder for it so it's not in the X86 program files but windows keeps saying symbols are not allowed. so how can i make it have it's own folder:confused:
  14. wholly crap dude this is a 5 year old thread. i done figured this out a long time ago:rolleyes:
  15. well still if the OP has windows it should have downloaded the service packs as well. he should also install the latest version of the mxsl for the flight sim. it needs that to.
  16. well something does not sound right then. because fsx acceleration pack has SP2. because i was problem solving and found an SP2 update that was for FSX and it didn't work. so if the OP is not installing the SP1 and 2 updates then no it won't work. check windows updates.
  17. go to your main FSX.cfg and click on find use ctrl+f and type in graphics. and when that comes up put this at the bottom HIGHMEMFIX=1 i had the same issue and this takes care of that. when you close the cfg say yes to changes and try your flight again. and get back to us to let us know it worked
  18. well i was having nothing but errors a while ago and now i can fly the wings off my planes error free for now. i think the G3D.DLL error i was getting was to my FSX settings being maxed out. i turned down the scenery a bit from the max to one notch below and things seem to be going good now:)
  19. yeah me to. but that's what some one told me was happy memorial day. i wish they would say happy long week end or something else like that
  20. wow at least he missed Pearl Harbor. a lot of people died that day. from what i have seen on the history channel. that was a very dark day for us.
  21. hey THANK YOU for your service to you and all the others here. i know this is not just a long week end and a day for the sales i see on the television. that's the part upsets me is when i see company's say come to our memorial day sales:mad: that's not what it's about. and thanks it's nice to be back:)
  22. hey I hope every one is having a good long week end. I have not been on this forum for a long time but I think I will have more time and be able to come here more often. I know it may not matter to any one here but I used to be on these forums all the time and helping other virtual pilots. but I got really busy and life was getting in the way and I was busy with FSX as well. hopefully I can come back like I used to before. :pilot:
  23. ok sweet thanks. and @mallcott thank you I thought it was a scenery thing. so I will remember that and I have a gaming computer now that's using windows 10. so I might have to update my signature. cause I got a new computer. just for got to change things. lol.
  24. well deleting the scenery cfg where the FSX config is located is supposed to rebuild the scenery cause I keep getting G3D.DLL crashes and restarts of the simulator. and yes I still have the scenery.cfg in the main FSX folder. but for some reason it don't seem to be rebuilding the scenery to put the file back in the C:\Users\Ken\AppData\Roaming/fsx for some reason. I suppose as long as it's working I will just fly it. the sim seems to running just fine with out it. because I hate to have to reformat the computer for something that's not broke right now. and it's the CD version of the simulator.
  25. i was flying today and had to try to get off the ground 3 times due to G3D.DLL crashes. and I went and deleted the scenery cfg in the C:\Users\Ken\AppData\Roaming fold for fsx but it's not regenerating a new scenery.cfg. but I'm not getting an error when I launch the sim nor does it say creating scenery. do I need to reinstall the simulator or just keep flying? I don't want to reinstall cause I am on a cross country trip and hope I can just rebuild the scenery:confused:
