  1. I forgot to say. The "recommended specs" are fine for running default MSFS at max settings (I guess)... and no addons at all. The thing is that, knowing you're here, it's very possible you want to install some as soon as they're released. For that you'll possibly need an even stronger PC.
  2. SKBO to SKBG or SABE to SACO. My two main routes in real life.
  3. As far as I know, in default scenery there are no static jetways. In addon sceneries, please check the manual/Read Me file.
  4. It can´t find the default 738 textures. You need to copy them either in the 787 master texture folder, or in each livery folder or edit the texture.cfg files so that they can call to the correct folder.
  5. I hope you weren´t using the default ATC for guiding you to SKBO runways 31L/R. In real life there used to be a cicle-to-land procedures. Don´t ever try going over the Cerros and then dive to the runway. For takeoff from runways 13L/R, at 800 ft AGL, turn! I still have some issues taking off with a fully loaded A319. Heck, even Avianca in the real world has issues. For me, the hardest ones have been VNKT and VQPR. I can´t do them without EGPWS.
  6. Strange: I could run the PSS 777 with no issues (apart from the unstable FPS with all PSS Boeings). Maybe I was using the version sold by BlackBox and you were using a previous one?
  7. Aerosoft A321 in TAM colors, departing SAEZ: Scenery is default FSX, skies are REX and ground textures are Orbx Global+Vector.
  8. Contact either CLS support or your store for support.
  9. Laptop: Intel i5-8300H, Nvidia GTX1050 2 GB, 8 GB RAM and 2x240 GB SSD. At 1920x1080, 100% default AI, almost all sliders right and no commercial airport sceneries, I'm getting smooth 60 FPS at KJFK. I could get more, if not for Vsync. Actually, I bought this beast for FSX, and installed FS9 just for curiosity. Since I never liked how add-on airports clear all autogen around, I only need AI and AFCADs to be set.
  10. AA won't do anything here. Change your filtering in FSX to either Trilinear or Anisotropic. I prefer the latter. In the GPU settings (either Nvidia or AMD), set Anisotropic Filtering to 16x. And also check land detail textures and texture resolution in FSX settings.
  11. I guess you're using fullscreen mode in DX9. Sometimes it happened to me also, and the only way I could recover was by forcing shutdown of my laptop. If you want to keep using DX9, you'll need to go to windowed mode. Fullscreen+Windows 10 is so buggy that Lockheed Martin removed it from P3D. In your FSX.cfg, in the [Main] section, look for the line that says Maximized, and make sure the value is either 0 (windowed mode) or 2 (windowed mode, maximized). If it's 1 (full screen), change it to 2. If you miss having all the screen for your sim, you can get Borderless Gaming (freeware from the developer, or $5 at Steam if you wish to support the developer). Warning: you may get the same blank issue, but you won't lose control. All you have to do is to switch tasks from and back to FSX (Alt+Tab or 3-finger swipe in touchpads). There are other methods, but I haven't tried them.
  12. Crazy idea: if he loads his default flight, changes view to VC, and then saves this flight and marks it as the new default, will the OP get the VC as the first view after loading the flight? I can't try in FS9, I no longer have it installed.
  13. Nice pictures! Love the Copa 739 Max awaiting delivery
  14. In FS9, the answer is almost: you can set in the aircraft.cfg your desired eyepoint, and then in the panel.cfg the desired view direction. Caution: this direction will be shared with the 2D panel. You'll have to decide which one you'd prefer. This tutorial will guide you better: http://www.calclassic.com/sci_tutorial/index.html However, you'll want to set a hotkey or button for going quickly to your desired zoom value. For my 16:9 laptop display, I use either 0.5625 or 0.75.
  15. Eh, iFly does not use tickets for support, but a restricted access forum. 1) Register your product so that you can gain access to the forums. 2) Reinstall, and install the latest service pack (instructions at the forum). 3) If it still fails, open a thread there.
  16. Avianca A319 (one of the first ones in the fleet), departing SKBO:
  17. I guess you have Windows 10. From there, you have 2 options: - Go back to DX9. The next time you get the black screen, press Alt+Enter. It will take you to windowed mode. Fullscreen mode in Windows 10 is just too buggy. That's why LM doesn't offer it for P3D. - If you insist with DX10, purchase DX10 Fixer. In both cases, if you miss having the whole screen for FSX, install Borderless Gaming.
  18. Nice pics!! I'm sure Peer will love this plane.
  19. I guess you're using the default A321 VC merged. If so, go to Options>Controls>Assignments and set a key combination (or button) for TO/GA. Usually the default is Ctrl+Shift+G.
  20. My 1920x1080 15.6" laptop display, raised 15 cm (or 6"). As soon as everything goes back to normal, I may be thinking about something bigger. However, I think I won't be able to do 4K in FSX, not with a GTX1050...
