    When I opened MSFS it said, I was not up to date. To "update" button pulled up a screen that said, "Microsoft was updated 10.0 to 10.0. Then it said, Flight simulator was not updated, 0.0B to 0.0B. Sounds like, to me, nothing to nothing. Froze up and would not allow me to enter. However, when I start as administrator, all is ok. Kind of crazy. Oh well, it works... so far.

    Yes This works. Don't know why but running as admin works. Got me a little scared. Am I missing a d/l? Doesn't make sense.

    Anyone else encountered this? Was working fine last night. This morning, while trying to start up sim: "Your Game Needs Some Updates 2 total" "Digital Owership 10.0 of 10.0" Microsoft Flight Simulator" "Error 0.0B of 0.0B" Game won't start. Any ideas? Any help greatly appreciated.

    Yes use generic plane models. Also noticed ATC no longer uses airline names but everything "generic". Can't figure this one out.

    Traffic set to Type=AI Offline, Density=97%, AI & Multiplayer Generic Models=AI, Multiplayer=Off, Traffic Variety=High. At KATL have suddenly lost my AI traffic on the VFR Map. Can see a/c lights flying at night but nothing shows up on the map and ATC is mostly silent as regards AI traffic. Anyone else experienced this? Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.

    The latest update #7: I've lost the KATL Delta General Offices and Hanger 1 museum again. Same thing happened with a previous MSFS update, then we got it back. Now with this latest update it's gone again. Anyone else encountered this problem or is it just me? Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

    Thanks Crispy for your help. Found and installed the .63 version but didn't help. Panel is still dark and wheels and gear are still white. Guess this is a bit above my head. I've never been a, "head under the hood, get your hands dirty" kind of guy. Always wanted to have it work straight out of the box, "shake n' bake". But thank you for your generous help, it's much appreciated.

    FBW site shows stable version as 0.7. Any idea how I can get 0.63? Any help appreciated.

    I believe it's included in the USA scenery update in Market Place.

    OK found KATL in the USA scenery. However after d/l I noticed this time a couple of buildings seem to be missing, i.e. the delta corporate offices, Old Hanger 1 and museum. Anyone else noticed this? Any feedback greatly appreciated.

    Just reloaded MSFS and it is working but I can't find the hand crafted KATL. The market only shows the pay ware KATL. Any help greatly appreciated.

    Finally got MSFS to behave. For the past couple of days the only good thing I could say about it was, it was driving me to drink. However I came across this and it worked for me. I don't know who posted this but I've tried to find it again just to thank him. So this is not my brain child: windows-cmd prompt (run as admin)- type sfc /scannow - Enter. Let windows repair. I'm now able to fly w/o CTD. So, whoever you are, thank you very much. Now if I can only find the "handcrafted" KATL.

    Tiger, Thanks for the help but "Repair" did not help. Neither did "Reset", which took a very long time. No she's good for about 5 minutes of flight that's all. But maybe MS will take pity on some of us poor customers and give us a fix. Thanks again for the suggestions.

    No don't have that one. I did have quite a few mods in the community folder but as I said, I emptied the folder.

    Yea, after 7/27 update sim CTD after about 5 minutes of flying. Cleaned out my community folder, still no change. Everything worked fine before the update. BTW, is it possible to "roll back" the update? Any help appreciated.

    D/L the 7/27 update. Lots of new things. one BIG problem: after about 5 minutes I get CTD every time. MS updates, fix one thing, break somethin' else. Kinda' like a kid with a hammer, you just hope you can get it away, before he does too much damage. Oh well. We'll see.

    Yea, I used "WOAI" with FSX and it was great. Correct A/C at correct airports and at the correct gates. KATL was always hoppin'. Having WOAI with MSFS is the stuff dreams are made of. Even if it is a few years down the road.
