  1. Great views! On the question of automation, if that's helping pilot, right. If not that's mostly for underqualified humans, if like a Frenchman I can so express myself :):)
  2. Great views of that 'Campo Santo!' That's the name they give to the set of the tower, the Church and the cloister which come with. A much fine place I visited once and I nearly prefered Pisa to Firenze :):) There is even holy soil from Jerusalem in the cloister! Fine!
  3. Di j on! Yes, all is fine here as we live in a 'green' suburb, with fresh country air. We are in isolation since about 2 months now, which is much. I just get out about every 10 days to have some complement of buyings for my mother. Else, with a balcony, and a garden on it, I have some passtime :):) How can you stand not flying?! Take care, you Peer and all you fine guys on that forum! That's a tropical virus, and not sympathetic at all :(
  4. Was kidding somehow! :):) How do you do, on the other hand?
  5. Deepening into the land of Uncle Vito (northern parts for now!) :):):)
  6. Feeling some diminutiveness about what's French! Aren't you?
  7. Yes, time to find the way back to the terrain!
  8. One doesn't see much the texture, as the picture is great anyway!
  9. Thrilling! 'You, me, the Unites States, Canada, Australia. If they're successful, there won't be a man, woman, or child safe in any country.' : bioterrorism do you mean? :):):)
  10. Sure the guys who came from Italy, to Germany, had such fine views!
  11. Hey! Going to lands of not much where! :):) On the other hand, don't tell people there I wrote that, they're somewhat relatives to Peer's uncle Vito :):)
  12. Proud to be!  And what I wrote is true. That was the service we had when flying a 2-hour flight in the usual class!!
  13. Totally agree. Finally a luck I didn't flew any commercial since a while :):) Flying aboard is not a privilege but a great experience in any case, and must come with all the thrills: captain's greeting when boarding and unboarding, crew profesionality, free newspapers, drinks, meals, shop and all that even in tourist class. I came to be accustomed to that, when often flying to and from France when a French cooperant civil culturel. Until then my student revenue had only allowed me to some charter flight
  14. Yep! The 747s unluckily and some few companies excepted will mostly serve now like cargo planes!
  15. Wonder how DAVISTRAKA will be involved that time! :):):)

  17. Ah! Mediterranean, a major cultural hub to Europe!
  18. The 747 will likely remain like the landmark plane of the late 20th century I'd the chance to fly aboard a one when returning from touring the USA. It was a Air France one. I was supposed to be back to Europe like I had come, that is through a charter, two-step flight via Iceland. The first leg to Iceland, by then Icelandic Airways however, was told cancelled when I got to JFK, New-York to take the flight. As the night Air France flight had still some seats left, I was for free transferred unto :) and a Custom man of JFK kindly drove me until the stairs. Great! When entering the 747, looked like me, and some other late passengers, were VIPs :):)
