I use Logitech Extreme 3-D Pro. I've owned it for over 20 years & still works great. Has extra buttons on it just in case you want to program them in the future. I only have 4 programmed & I actually only use 2 so it's not over complicated. Cheap enough not to break the bank & good enough to last a real long time.

Bumping this up. Anyone know what is causing this error?

I've been using FSrealWX V3 which is a step up from Lite - I get these error lines usually when the program first starts which I start manually after I Download WX & Install my Flight Plan & then I click Connect. Any idea why or what's causing it? The error seems to go away once the program has been running for a few minutes & it does not seem to affect the Sim, visuals & weather seem accurate.

I figured it out, now I just need to find a good Prop hs File. Idea's where I can find one?

Looking through my FSX Folder & I saw these FSX files in between the FSX.EXE's. I'm assuming they are "Crash" files, but don't remember FSX crashing. Any idea what they are & how to read them so I know what they are? Do I leave them or can they be deleted? Thank you

It does not cause any stutter on my PC but I'm sure it all depends on what system you have and what else is running. I'm sure it's different for everyone. There are quite a few posts on the subject, and as in systems, all opinions & results vary.

I didn't have to register FSUIPC from what I can remember (and I am not good at remembering) & as far as I know, I don't have Simconnect Installed. So, maybe one of the other guys here will be able to help you further. I wish you good luck & hope you get it working.

Thank you avallillo for your detailed reply. I have been a avid user of FS98, Combat FS, FS2000 & FSX. I am big into addons and now use FSX only. I think the prices are too much for the others and the amount of time & effort I've put into FSX, I don't think I would get the enjoyment from another sim. I was just curious to hear thoughts on AeroFly FS2 and it's been helpful. Thank you all for the input.

Hi - I'm not sure why it's not working for you. The procedure I typed out is how I get it to work for me. It may work the same for others also and may not. Make sure you have FSUIPC Installed. Connect is shown in my screen shot, this is the "Connect" you click. Hope this helps.

Yes Mr. Zippy, I'm sure you have. At least you are nice & helpful, not like a couple of guys on this forum but that won't stop me from asking repetitive & what seem to be stupid questions to some. How else do we learn & keep this boat afloat if we don't. Thank you & the guy I was trying to help out said Thank You also.

The way I run FSrealWX is: 1. Keep FSrealWX CLOSED. 2. Start FSX 3. Set Flight Plan 4. Aircraft on Runway 5. Start FSrealWX 6. Click "Download WX" 7. Click Flight Plan 8. Load Flight Plan 9. Click Connect And that's it. The weather will load and you can fly. This is the way "I" do it & it works perfect for "Me". I'm sure someone else will tell you a better way. Good luck

Hi Tinman - I'm probably not the best person to reply to your post but didn't see much in replies for you. I joined a VA who is specific to Alaska - Here's the link to their group. https://www.flyaka.com/ They have a discord channel also but they don't seem to fly much together. That's why I am not active in the group, I fly some of the routes they put together. I know there was talk of a C-130 suppose to be one of their free aircraft so I'm sure you could fly you Captain Sim C-130. As for ORBX & FSX-SE, they both work well together. I have allot of ORBX & I fly FSX Steam Edition. I also have the old box edition which I don't use. Good luck & if you do find a Bush Flying group, be sure to share. I tried & made a few post looking for a Bush Flying Group to join but never got any responses for one.

Yes, that's what I'm thinking also. But let's see if anyone else can figure it out or at least try and see if they have the same issue. I hate giving up on trying to get something to work. Thanks

Need help with Christen Eagle II dl from Simviation. The file is called FSX/FS2004 Christen Eagle II MegaPack as shown in the picture. I'm trying to get it to work in FSX SE which has SP1 & SP2. Yes, it's for 2004 but everything works but the gauges are White. Any suggestions? I also found a fix for it but that does not work either.

Make sure you dl file name fsrealwxv3_setup https://www.fsrealwx.com/ Just make a free account. - NOTE: In my Screen shot, ignore the Error lines, it's because I didn't have FS running Plus it was in the middle of downloading the weather info when I took the screen shot for you. Once you have your FS running, all that info changes & all the blank windows contain your flight info.

I've been a fan of FSX & probably would not move to another Sim. Honestly with the amount of $$$ and Time I have invested, don't think it would work but, I saw this Aerofly FS Flight Simulator and it's being billed as the next Generation Flight Simulator. Sure it's been around for awhile, quite honestly this is the first I've seen of it. Thoughts please if you have it, Price & how does it compare to FSX. Thanks
