Is there a way to convert P3D scenery to FSX?

Thanks Mr. Zippy - I thought the easy fix would be just to follow the advice given in my previous post about Gauge not working properly. I also have the tomdc10 pack. I have to do some digging around, see if I make one out of the two.

I dl'd the Fed-x DC-10-30F and the Flap Gauge is not reading correctly. I made a similar post a while ago & tried to edit the config as advised in that post. I opened my 738's config and copied the text from [flaps.0] and that didn't work. (Disregard Highlighted area) The gauge reads 10-15 in 0 position as shown. Before I go any further, figured I'd ask here. How to correct this so when set at zero degree's, gauge reads zero? Thanks

Loyd - Thank you for your in-depth resolution explanation. It is appreciated. Yes, I'm OCD as well, it does not bother me that much but would be nice to resolve just because it's a challenge. I might try this but not today. I have another question which I will make a new post for. Thanks again

EDIT - Loyd, I did a search of just my FSX folder & there were literally hundreds of files containing 'Traffic". There might be another way?

Hello Loyd - It's an on-going issue. Not a big deal as most AI seem to be flying solo and not in a pack. I'd like to resolve it if I could though just because it's one of those annoying things, "if it's not right, fix it". How would I located Duplicate Flight Plans? I know they can't exists in the same folder, so where to look. Thanks

I have 2 sometimes 3 DEFAULT AI flying together. Sometimes I'll see 2 or 3 WOAI flying in tandem as well but more Default planes than addons. Same aircraft, same departure, same destination. Not all the time, depends on where I'm flying. Kind of like seeing a UFO. I know I did something wrong with Flight Plans loaded in scenery/world/scenery............ Just don't know what or how to resolve. What do you think?

I only use Locked Spot View when I'm on the ground - It seems it get's stuck in what I call Super Size screen and I can't remember the short cut key combo to get it out of super size. I've tried backspace plus the Plus & Minus keys. Alt Enter is for screen size only. I've tried just about every combination except the correct one. Pictures shown are as far as I can't zoom out in Locked Spot View. I know there's a short cut combo, someone showed me what it was but I can't remember. The only way I can fix it is to go out of sim into menu screen and sometimes that takes a few tries. I suffer from CRS syndrome & if I don't wright it down, it's gone like in the wind. Loyd - I run both as Administrator. I have them both start & run in Admin through their settings. Thanks for suggestion. Mr. Zippy - I wanted to edit each plane's configs. I fly different planes, so that would not work. Yes, I have my airport and a default plane set as my Start Up, but when I change to the plane I'm going to fly and get my flight underway, I forget to change ATC Frequency and they start blabbin LOL and screw up my Headset. Oh, well. Maybe someone will have another idea. I think I'll go dig around in a config or two and see what I can figure out. Thanks

Need to know if I can edit the Default Active ATC Frequency to be tuned to a Non Active frequency in the air.cfg or which file it's located in so I can change it. I need to change it because when I start my sim & ATC speaks, it cuts off my headphones so I can't hear. I need to shut down & restart either Team Speak or Discord communication program and reopen after I manually change the ATC Frequency to Non Active. The problem is I forget to manually change the frequency before the speak. Hope that's not too confusing. Thanks

ALL FIXED - ORBX Corrupted my AirTraffic.bgl File. Renamed it to "trafficAircraft.bgl.DISABLED-FOR-FTX-AI" Which Disabled it so all AI were gone. So I renamed it back to trafficAicraft.bgl and all is fixed.

Yes, all WOAI flight plans are in the scenery/world/scenery folder.

Thank you for your ideas & screen shots. The "Target" Pull down Arrow does not work, does not allow me to do anything with it. The issue is, that the WOAI files are still installed where I installed them, I just don't have ANY AI in my Sim at all. I was trying to get the World of AI Installer to work so I could try to Re-install at least one WOAI planes to see if it would sort out files that may be orphans. I really don't know what to do. Don't even know if that would work. Oh well, maybe another idea will come along. Thanks again

I know, Here we go again................. Please help. I had a major issue with DELL. They had to make a New User Profile for me on my PC, they swore up and down nothing would go wrong, well it did. I lost ALL my AI planes, even Default. It's like I'm flying in a ghost land. It may be a simple fix, I have no clue. I have everything backed up I just can't figure out how to get them working. The WOAI Folder is still in Sim Objects & all files are there also. Does not make any sense that when I fly, there's nothing but me. I click on Aircraft View & don't see any AI anywhere. I fly for miles, nothing. So, I'm trying to use the WOAI Installer & that won't work. My question is............ Is there someone that would get on Team Viewer & Discord to help me figure this out. I have literally Hundreds of dollars & Hundreds of hours invested in my sim & it won't work correctly. I'm not good with computers, it took me forever to get this working right & Dell Screwed the Pooch for me. The picture I included is of the Installer, the Target pull down to switch from 2004 to FSX is grayed out & not available to use. Let me know if you can help. Thank you. P.S. The Profile the Copied to make the New Profile was Deleted By Dell. They can't roll anything back.

Hard to explain how to make the changes. You need someone to join your PC through Team Viewer Program and fix it for you. At the same time you can learn how to make changes. Also, communicating through Team Speak would be helpful so you can talk to each other.

I actually have the PDMG sound pack installed for engines & other sounds which is much better than any sound pack I've tried thus far including the 738 improved sound pack you've suggested. Problem is, it does not include the Flaps sound. No worries, I'm going to use the A320 Airbus Flap Sound which I actually like better than any other flap sound I've tried. I know there's a fix out there because I had it but unfortunately I didn't back it up and must have deleted it somewhere along the way. Oh well, Thank for your suggestions.

I can't remember where I found the Flaps Sound Fix for the default 737-800 annoying continuous Clicking Sound when you first engaged flaps. I know, just click sound on and off (Q Key) and it stops but I'd prefer the actual fix. I had the file but lost it when I reinstalled the originals Aircraft.cfg (had too, made errors). Anyone know where to find it??? Thanks

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. You're exactly correct Rick, I too enjoy tinkering with things trying to get them to work & figuring out why they don't. It's very satisfying solving the mysteries. By the way, How did you find this paint for the RR 788? Thanks again

It worked But now I'm missing cockpit textures & engine textures. I'll keep messing with it. I'll get it sooner or later LOL, thanks EDIT - I fixed the cockpit textures 100%. Working on the Engines, they are still black, looks cool but it's not right.... Not working - Not sure what to do. Any Idea's on this one?

Ok Thanks Rick - So here's what I did. I changed the line in the config to RR from GE and it works. Might not be the correct way of doing it but it works.
