  1. I am very close to finishing it, just got to figure out a way to get the autopilot speed hold & vertical speed hold working as the LR35 has no auto throttle. When finished I will upload it to the library. Here's an updated image of the panel. I have changed the engine instrument digital readouts to rotating drum numbers as they should be. Also as the gauges are smaller than they would be than on some panel backgrounds I have made most gauges clickable to popup in a larger window.
  2. You could try using Doug Dawson's Random Number Gauge, dsd_random_number.zip from the Avsim library. The code would look something like this: (A:Indicated Altitude, feet) 1000 (K:SMOKE_ON) } els{ 2 > (K:SMOKE_ON) } Having not used Doug Dawson's Random Number Gauge myself, I think this code is something you can work with.
  3. In europe it's better to pay a little extra & fly with Easyjet which at least flies you to an airport near the city that you are travelling too & not one a 100 miles away.
  4. Install gauges in either your FSX gauges folder (found in the FSX root directory) or in the aircrafts panel folder. Regarding the sound problem, I have no idea what's causing this.
  5. The FS9 versions should work in FSX as long as all the gauges are xml, there is one by Sergio Kauffman over at Avsim which looks very good, here's the link, why not try it, you have nothing to lose! if it dosn't work you can just bin it.
  6. I just thought I would let you know that my freeware Learjet 35A for FSX SP2 is nearly finished after over 2 years of work, the model is done, here's some screenshots: All I have to do now is finish the 2D panel, it's 99% complete with just a few things to get working correctly, here's some screenshots of the panel, included is one with some of the popups: This is the 1st panel I have attempted, the panel background has been done from a photo & all the gauges apart from the GPS have been created by me. I have also tried to replicate the systems of the real aircraft, for example the fuel system on the LR35, the engines only take fuel from the wing tanks so I used Doug Dawson's great fuel dump gauge to model the fuel system so that fuel is taken from the wing tanks only & is topped up by a gravity feed from the tip tanks and when they are empty fuel from the wing tanks is then used but the pilot needs to make sure that the fuel level dosen't get too low before manually transfering fuel from the fuselage tank into the wing tanks. I have also included the ability to jettison fuel from the tip tanks. I hope you like it & I will let you know when I have uploaded it to the library. Paul
  7. You need to place the file name in the "File name" box & not the "Search for text" box.
  8. There are a couple of replacement sound packages for the B737NG available from the flightsim.com library, default_fsx_737_sound_mod.zip & 737ng_cfm56-7b_sounds.zip, to find these you just copy the file names including the .zip into the library "File name" search box.
  9. To add the sound to the TDS 737 Max 8 you need to alias the FSX default B737-800 sound to it, you do this by placing a "Sound.cfg" into the TDS 737 Max 8 sound folder, this is easily done as the FSX default B747-400 uses a sound.cfg file aliased to the default B737-800, so just copy the sound.cfg file from your B747-400 sound folder into your TDS 737 Max 8 sound folder.
