ctatlow
I have installed the dassault mercure from http://www.rikoooo.com/en/downloads/viewdownload/22/5 Then I have added wing views, left and right to look behind the wings. I seem to have the position of the wing views right, as I can see the navigation lights for each wing but they are hovering midair where the wing tip ought to be, but there is no sign of the wing at all. I have moved the seat rows back and forth in case I haven't got the position right, but it seems the wings are supposed to be where the lights are. Could anyone tell me why I can't see any wings? Thanks in advance Regards Charlotte
mrzippy
Did you have a resolution to your electrical fault? You may want to tie a ribbon on your previous thread. I added a quick wing view borrowed from a default aircraft. Is this what you want or are you looking for a view that includes the passenger window? Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! ctatlow
I have the bitmap of a window frame already in place and through the window I can see the navigation light but no wing. I will copy and paste the numbers I have used when I get home later. I didn't resolve the electrical fault but it isn't a big problem for now I'll just try to solve the wing views first. tgibson_new
I always assumed that if you used the bitmap technique the plane itself would not be visible through it? Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.com
ctatlow
I have used the following numbers in the panel.cfg to enable the wingviews; VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_WINDOW=35 VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_ZOOM=0.50 VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_EYE=0.6, -0.2, -15.5 VIEW_REAR_RIGHT_DIR=3.0, 0.0, 85.0 VIEW_REAR_LEFT_WINDOW=34 VIEW_REAR_LEFT_ZOOM=0.62 VIEW_REAR_LEFT_EYE=1.8, -0.2, -16.0 VIEW_REAR_LEFT_DIR=2.0, 0.0, 275.0 These numbers are the ones that I am using that show each navigation light where the wing tip should be. I would appreciate it if anyone knows why I cannot see the wings, as I usually can when I add wing views to other aircraft in this way. Double check the sequencing of the numbers after "window="
