Some shots of a Vision Jet SF50 G2 departing the Cirrus Service Center at Tyson -McGhee airport (KTYS) in Knoxville, Tennessee in today's foggy low viz RW weather.

 

On the CIRRUS ramp with ATIS Information Alpha - Ceiling obscured, Visibility 1/10, Wind Calm, Altimeter 29.82.

Climbing IMC to our initial altitude of 6000 feet we break out at 3500.

Great near zero zero departure. Hope you had an emergency divert planned with IFR approach minimums or better. Would not want to try to get back into there.

Always Aviate, then Navigate, then Communicate. And never be low on Fuel, Altitude, Airspeed, or Ideas.

Not seen one of these forever... I love the ground shots shrouded in the mist.. such a cute little plane isn't it....

Thanks, David.  I think the Vision Jet is one of the more realistic aircraft yet released for MFSF and is really fun to fly.  It compares very well with the TBM,  Longitude, and Honda Jet but needs the Working Ttitle G3000 to be upgraded to the same level as the recent MS G3000 sim avionics upgrade in those other planes.

Thanks, Phrog.  The ultimate emergency divert plan in a Vision Jet is the CAPS ballistic parachute! 😀

I don't even want to go there!

 

An alternate airport yes, but no let's not pop the chute.
