mrzippy
Did you also install the "No CD patch"? https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/317/no-cd-patch-for-flight-simulator-2004/ Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! piet06273
Replace the FS9.exe in yr FS9 parent folder with 'FS9' no CD patch' exe which is available 'everywhere' Start FS9 from yr new FS9.exe within your FS9 folder. Make an FS9 shortcut later....... I5 12600K - RTX3060TI - 32GB 3600 - M2 - WIN11 - FS8/9/X - MSFS - full ORBX UTX etc.
anaismith
You also need the 9.1 patch. It runs just fine on W10 and W11. But I seem to recall that the preview selection screen will not show the desired aircraft. go here https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/15244/microsoft-flight-simulator-2004-v91-no-cd-patch/ and here https://flyawaysimulation.com/downloads/files/2795/flight-simulator-2004-update-v91/ Install the second one first. leuen
Important to point out that both patches should be installed BEFORE running FS9 the first time. Otherwise they will be of no use.
