loki
There's at least one project working on allowing users to convert FSX aircraft to run in MSFS. Still very early with plenty of issues to sort out, but worth keeping an eye on. It also appears that it won't work on all aircraft in the end either. https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/fsx-import-showcase/165910/
Elvensmith
Interesting development. Think the biggest issue might be translating the "Acme" FS autopilot as used on 85% of freeware and payware FSX and previous planes, to the new format. It's either going to have to go in as G1000 format or the pseudo FMC of the tubes. It would also be interesting to see how vintage jets such as the 707 and 727 with old style autopilots might convert across. Vern.
tiger1962
If the model has a VC with .xml gauges it will port over OK, no matter which aircraft or what gauges it seems. The lower polygon count and lack of PBR materials on the FSX models is glaringly obvious apparently. Tim Wright "The older I get, the better I was..."
