Some Cruddy Weather on This Leg

Menorca (LEMH) Menorca, Spain to Fertilia (LIEA) Alghero, Italy. The weather turned yucky about half way.

Nice shots David! But I certainly am aware as well, this time of the year the weather can change seemingly in an instant!! I can't tell you how much we'd have loved to have weather radar and all those wonderful weather gadgets in our cockpits that everyone now has on their cell phones back then.

 

Having said that, without those cell phones and other gadgets we actually went on aircraft flights including business, went on vacation, and even spent most evenings and off-days without fear of interruption by bosses and other intrusions! That's exactly why my cell phone is turned off right now! My downtime is still MY DOWNTIME!! ;)

 

I fire up my cellphone and my internet when I choose. :p:p

Thanks Michael! You hit the nail on the head. Vacations are not what they used to be. I am not thrilled being tracked down wherever I go.
