Downwind66
Gerard - Very nice selection of aircrafts! I have a several of these and you better "stay on your toes" flying one of these. Demands a lot of attention during the landing process, but can be controlled with practice! A winner for sure! Thanks for sharing! Rick:cool: Edited December 26, 2019 by Downwind66
NMLW
Great shot of your Corsair Gerard. That was a tough fighter bomber and did a lot of damage during the war.  :) Larry

flightsimg
Thanks all for your comments! Rick: yes! Think that's due to the torque of that large propeller Larry: looks like that was the workhorse in the Pacific DAVIDSTRAKA: thanks; noticed that my weather engine often gives me bad weather during WW2 :) Gérard Guichard, Dijon, Burgundy, France. i5 Intel processor, 4 Go of Ram, Nvidia GeForce 920MX, DirectX 12.0, and FSX Gold Edition with SP1, SP2. flightsimg
Thanks Peer! On the other hand, I have checked the daily Bing image on my Windows 10. I was wondering why no spectacular water landing lately, and I found!! That why the Netherlands are now covering with ice LOL Gérard Guichard, Dijon, Burgundy, France. i5 Intel processor, 4 Go of Ram, Nvidia GeForce 920MX, DirectX 12.0, and FSX Gold Edition with SP1, SP2. flightsimg
Nice Corsair there Gerard. Too bad about the bad weather. Thanks. I'd noticed that, that my free weather engine, often gives me bad weather for remote times! :) Will try to thing about that Gérard Guichard, Dijon, Burgundy, France. i5 Intel processor, 4 Go of Ram, Nvidia GeForce 920MX, DirectX 12.0, and FSX Gold Edition with SP1, SP2. Downwind66
Gerard, I looked at your post one more time and had to do a "second take." It's one of the exact aircraft I have. I chose this and one other from a list of about 8. I do like the WR "9" Enjoy! Feeling any better? Rick
flightsimg
Thanks Rick! And thanks to inquire about my health. About getting out, wouldn't it be the collective heat system of my housing. They just tuned it that summer to save money; we're at the legal temperature authorized in France , and I feel that's a one for tramp! :( Gérard Guichard, Dijon, Burgundy, France. i5 Intel processor, 4 Go of Ram, Nvidia GeForce 920MX, DirectX 12.0, and FSX Gold Edition with SP1, SP2. flightsimg
Beautiful Corsair Gérard. And the superstructure of the carrier in the background adds to the picture. Bravo. Thanks kalizzi! That's mostly my philosophy to FS, even outside those WW2 planes: to scenerize -- at a less cost of time, but with much efficiency, or I hope so -- where I fly :) Gérard Guichard, Dijon, Burgundy, France. i5 Intel processor, 4 Go of Ram, Nvidia GeForce 920MX, DirectX 12.0, and FSX Gold Edition with SP1, SP2. Downwind66
Here you go, Gerard! So far, this Corsair has only seen takeoffs and landings on good old Terra Firma, no aircraft carriers for me with this little "Dynamite Stick!" I have finally got the wheels landings down, took some doing, but I stuck with it! Rick

flightsimg
Yes, the Corsair was a powerful plane, with much torque I think due to its large propeller!
