jonnymorrisuk
I saw the section in the File Library but unfortunately both the uiautomationcore.dll and the Service Pack 1 seem to be no longer available, do I really need them? FSX has unexpectedly quit on me once already since I installed it yesterday. I think the list may need updating, in the mean time I'd like to ask what I should try to get hold of - what about Service Pack 2 (or is there 3 now as well?) mrzippy
So......did you install the 2 disc version of FSX? If so, then SP1 and SP2 are needed. I will post links for them. The proper uiautomationcore.dll can be Google searched. There are 2 different ones. The one designed for, I think, Windows Vista is the one most people find works the best. https://flyawaysimulation.com/downlo...ervice-pack-1/ https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8986 http://www.search-dll.com/dll-files/download/uiautomationcore.dll.html Edited April 30, 2019 by mrzippy Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! dogdish
This is where I got all my service packs and updates. Search for Windows 7 get the right version x32 or x64. These are the download installable versions of Microsoft Update. https://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/home.aspx Save them to a disk before Microsoft takes down the website so you will always have them Edited May 1, 2019 by dogdish Gigabyte GA-X99 Gaming G1, i7-5960X, Noctua NH-D14, Crucial Ballistix Elite 64Gb, Nvidia GTX Titan X, Creative ZxR, Ableconn PEXM2-130, WD Black SN750 250Gb & 2Tb NVMe/Gold 10Tb HDD, Sony BDU-X10S BD-ROM, PC Power & Cooling 1200w, Cosmos C700M, Noctua iPPC 140mm x6, Logitech M570/K800, WinX64 7 Ultimate/10 Pro
jonnymorrisuk
Thank you for the replies. The link for Service Pack 1 on flyawaysimulation.com was bad but I managed to find it easily enough by searching for 'Service Pack'. 37 pages of 25 updates per page... if only there was a way to download all of them in a single click! No doubt worth having though. Chocks away! (apologies for the cliche)
