reggiec
Being on a fixed income, I find it necessary at times to be creative to fly the aircraft I want in P3Dv4.3. In this case, I've integrated the Lear 45 cockpit into an HTAI/DWAI AI model. As you can see, I have Brake Pressure and Oil PSI warning lights. Do I need to change something in the aircraft.cfg file to eliminate these warnings? Thanks, Reggie
mrzippy
Does the aircraft.cfg of this AI model have a hydraulic system indicated. The below is from the Lear45: [brakes] parking_brake = 1 //Parking brake available toe_brakes_scale = 1.2 //Brake scalar auto_brakes = 0 hydraulic_system_scalar = 1 //On brakes dependant on the hydraulic system, ratio hyd system to max brake hyd pressure [hydraulic_system] normal_pressure = 3000.0 //PSI electric_pumps = 0 //no electric pumps engine_map = 1,1,0,0 //pumps on Eng1,2 Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! reggiec
Yes Sir. [brakes] toe_brakes_scale=1.000000 parking_brake=1 [hydraulic_system] electric_pumps=0 engine_map=1,1,0,0 normal_pressure=3000.000000
reggiec
I added the line in "red" and that took care of the brake pressure warning. Any ideas about the oil pressure PSI? Thanks, Reggie
mrzippy
I will take a look at the oil pressure. I'll be back (Terminator)! This one may be more difficult. Oil pressure is developed by some sort of pump. Does your aircraft.cfg have these in there: [vacuum_system] max_pressure=5.15 //PSI vacuum_type=2 //Type: 0=None, 1=Engine pump (default), 2=Pneumatic, 3=Venturi [pneumatic_system] max_pressure=18.000000 bleed_air_scalar=1.000000 Normal oil pressure is 71 and yours reads 129 which is way too high. Did you also add the lear45 .air file to your funky AI model? Edited August 4, 2018 by mrzippy Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! reggiec
Here's what's in the cfg. file. This is the Dee Waldron Cessna 500 Citation II updated by AIG for use in P3Dv4. I did not use the Lear45 Airfile as the aircraft seems to fly fine with the Cessna Citation Airfile. [vacuum_system] max_pressure=5.150000 vacuum_type=2 electric_backup_pressure=0.000000 engine_map=0,0,0,0 [pneumatic_system] max_pressure=18.000000 bleed_air_scalar=1.000000
reggiec
There is an Oil Pressure section in the Air file. It reads: Oil Pressure Scale Factor=1.00000 Oil Pressure Limit *144(psi)=19440.0000 *Oil Pressure Rate of Change=0.800000
reggiec
I think I figured it out Sir, thank you.

Rupert
What was the final answer? Been there and asked that!!:( Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
