John Snyder Jr
Anyone have any idea where the helicopter files are in FSX Steam directory? I've deleted all the aircraft that I'll never fly but can't seem to find the helicopter files. I get tired of looking at those pictures when I change aircraft. Thanks
dogdish
NEVER DELETE default aircraft from FSX. Some of them are required for missions. Instead go into the Aircraft.cfg and find 'panel=' and change it to 'panel=OFF'. This will HIDE the aircraft in the aircraft selection menu. mrzippy
Helicopters are in the Rotorcraft folder. Not a good idea to delete them! The panel=0(or whatever you want to put in) is a good idea to hide the unwanted aircraft in the Selection page. Another is to create a Hangar folder to store unwanted or rarely used aircraft. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!

Thanks Deleting default aircraft is simply not to be done. You may block default aircraft from showing.
John Snyder Jr
Thanks guys, got all the deleted aircraft back and made them panel=0. Solved that problem. I never fly missions but you never know :)
